This credenza is very sturdy and heavy but I like how I can still easily slide it around a bit on our hardwood floor if necessary because of the silicone caps attached to each of its 5 legs. It is very well made with a high-quality white finish over what appears to be a faint oak grain. I bought it to use in our family room to hold disposable adult briefs, pull-ups, and many other items I now need to have close at hand since caring for my disabled husband at home. The family room has become his bedroom as well as an all-purpose room, and this credenza holds all the basics I need close to his hospital bed. I'm very happy with it, but I've actually found some additional bulky things I'd like to keep on hand for him whenever needed in the future. So, this short credenza is going to be moved into my bedroom closet soon to hold stacks of folded clothing in there. I plan to replace it with two 58" tall, 5-shelf open bookcases I've found so I can keep all of the home care items I may need for him in one place. If this item came in a taller size, I would have bought one or two of those instead because this one is so well made. I anticipated I might one day want or need a taller version, so I checked in advance and found this credenza's height enables it to fit easily under an unnecessary hanging clothing bar on one side of my closet. It really is a very versatile piece of furniture! It comes with an easily installed anti-tipping device that attaches to the wall behind to keep it from injuring children and elderly people who might pull it over onto themselves. The white color is so bright and the finish so smooth and easy to wipe clean, I can see it being used to organize children's toys at a level they can readily access. It is also sturdy and stable enough to support a smart TV! It's only 47" wide, so a 43" screen would probably look best on it, but I'm sure it could hold a larger screen, too. This product is well-designed and made of quality materials. The instructions were reasonable although if you have any aptitude with tools you don't need much help. Hardware was identified extremely well and there was a packet of extras in case you mess something up that was more than generous. The inconspicuous angle brackets that help provide strength and rigidity was part of the exceptional design. EXTREMELY pleased with product and the manufacturer. Last comment - despite the box being poorly handled by UPS, as evident by all scrapes and missing cardboard, the packing was excellent and nothing was damaged!! ... show more

I bought 2 units based on the positive reviews, and am I glad I did! Although the boxes had scrapes, the shelves arrived scratch and ding free. The assembly Instructions are detailed and clear, and all parts were well sorted and labeled with plenty of extra hardware. Screw holes and brackets all lined up beautifully during assembly. I rarely write reviews, but I’m so pleased with this bookcase I had to share. The instructions state that two people should assemble. I live alone and had no choice but to attempt assembly alone. I followed the instructions step by step to the tee. The end result is superb. The bookcase is sturdy, attractive and perfect for my needs. It took me a couple of days to complete, a total of seven hours; but I was in no rush. The bookcase is well worth every penny. I highly recommend it! ... show more
