  • HAPPY AND HIGH ON CAFFEINE
I love my new Espresso machine! I patiently followed the instructions and made a superb cup of espresso and then a perfect Cappuccino. It worked smoothly from the start. My IAGREEA Espresso Machine is compact enough to fit on my counter next to other matching appliances without crowding the space. It looks sleek and performs as advertised. YAAAAAAY! I even shared on my fb feed. ... show more

  • Beginner Espresso maker
I felt I was stepping out on a limb with this machine. I saw all these fancy tools available for making espresso, and it makes me a little nervous. I watched some videos and the whole process uses words that are different from what I have always known in making a cup of coffee: “doses” like in medicine, “shots” like at a bar, and it even uses a steam wand. So, I am a total newbie and finally decided it’s always good for an old dog to learn new tricks. I do totally love coffee, and honestly I am not one to drive to get a cup at a fancy shop when I can make it at home. When I took this little baby out of the package I read the book and followed the instructions. It scared me that the water didn’t come out for quite a while…it apparently took much longer to “prime” the system than I thought it was going to, and I wondered if it was broken. If you are new like me know that it does take a good number of pushes to get that water flowing the first time. Now I know. After the pre-coffee procedure I decided to try actual coffee. I had a bag of espresso ground that I picked up knowing I had a machine coming. Yes, the videos all say fresh is supposed to be way better, but I wasn’t sure how fine the ground should be, and so I got a good quality pre-ground coffee to try until I decide to advance to that next level. I put the coffee into the spoon and I did measure the weight so I can duplicate the amount I used. I then used the tamping tool on the other end of the spoon to push the coffee into the filter until it seemed nice and flat and solidly pressed in. Then I put the funnel unit back into the machine. I followed the instructions and voila! Coffee with the crema came out the bottom! I was so happy it worked. It was so easy! I then tasted it and, yep, it tastes like strong black coffee. So, I got out a little half and half because I do not have milk on hand and I wanted to try the steam wand. I frothed it up with the steam which was fun. It worked very well, and I poured it into the expressed coffee and it was so yummy! Maybe I do not have refined discerning taste buds for this yet, but I can hardly wait for tomorrow when I can do it again! More than one of these would be too much for me today with all that caffeine. My early morning cup may be from this machine now. So, I cleaned up, played around with the steam wand and made a bit of a mess, and I learned more by watching some beginner how-to espresso videos. I really look forward to my next cup. I’m delighted with this machine so far and I’m only a day into the experiment. This machine is so easy that before you know it I will be offering my friends a latte! Won’t they be impressed! I fully anticipate more visitors in the future with this little machine on my counter. I’m super delighted I took the risk and got an espresso machine. I was really hesitant to add another appliance to my small kitchen. This machine takes up much less space than my regular coffee maker and it tucks over in the corner so nicely. I’m thrilled. It may be moved to a more prominent positon in a bit. It looks very nice. If I have any future difficulties, since this I haven’t used the machine long enough to know how it holds up, I will definitely update the review. Meanwhile even for a newbie like me this is a good little machine. It is not complicated at all. The instructions were not written by a person who is an English expert, but they are pretty comprehensive and I do recommend reading them through before you begin. After a few cups I believe I will be doing this without any difficulty at all. For the price I think this is going to be a lot of fun and I can’t wait to enjoy more tasty treats from it. ... show more

  • Works well for the cost
Makes a decent espresso, and not complicated. Simple button-touch to brew small or large shots (or split shots). I haven't tried the frother yet, because it doesn't come with a frothing pitcher. For the price, I guess I see why it didn't come with one, but it should come with a frothing pitcher. -1 star for that. Otherwise, it's a good machine, and somewhat compact so it doesn't take a lot of space on your countertop. ... show more

  • Nice starter unit
It's been years since I've owned an espresso machine. I figured I'd give this one a go since it looked better than the one I owned many years ago. I like the simplicity of the unit. Seemed to be an issue with what I'll call 'vapor lock' when I first gave it a go, but then I used the steamer to move some air and viola! We had espresso! The unit works fine enough - especially at this price point - and the steamer works great. (Just need to provide your own vessel as that's not included.) Serious espresso/cappuccino lovers may look to spend more depending on your love of the drink. ... show more

  • Works great!
Makes awesome espressos!!! I’ve stopped going to the store in the morning to get an iced coffee just for my daily caffeine boost because now I can get it in the comfort of my own living room! When you order this make sure you have fine ground, on hand as soon as this bad boy comes in so you can have a cup! Well, so long as it’s not like 8:00pm like I did, boy was I wide awake then!!! ... show more

  • Nice beginner expresso machine with everything you need
The media could not be loaded. This is my first expresso machine and learning curve on how to use it took about half an hour with all the setting and knob. First off it's very light machine, not sure that is good or bad but it easily made my coffee with ease. I used dark roast and tasted good. Pretty easy to clean by just running thru few times with just hot water. But I notice even after few run thru I found tiny coffee still in the filter. Milk frother with the steam works fine, do becareful it is hot. Few things I notice one cup and two cup amount seems small as you can see in the last two picture. The clear glass is a 1 cup glass and it only gives me half a cup with 2 cup setting. Also when the pressure gets high as mention in the manual after you use steam milk frother which cause the cup buttons to flash. Turning the side knob was not consistent releasing the pressure to reset those buttons. There should be a valve that help release the pressure to make it easier to use. ... show more

  • Easy to use Espresso
I was a bit nervous about this espresso machine and if I would be able to figure it out, but it was surprisingly easy! If you follow the directions or watch a thorough video on the espresso machine it will walk you through exactly how to use this. The espresso taste great and does everything it says it does. The machine is easy to clean and is compact so it can fit in many spaces. ... show more

  • Impressive expresso machine for personal use
If you like stronger coffee, this machine does a great job at making expresso and cappuccino. It is an easy set up, and clean. The tank is sufficient for 4 or 5 cups of cappuccino. The handle of the holder is plastic, the tank does not have a filter. I would use this in my office and home. I like the fact that I can just add my expresso coffee and run the machine without having to purchase pods. The frother is sufficient but you will need to get a frothing pitcher. I suggest getting a metal one since the temperature of the tip does get hot. I clean out my expresso parts and forther wand with a spray bottle filled with vinegar. Vinegar cleans everything up nicely. The top since it has a warming element for the water does have a warming plate. Usually you can put a cup here, But I put my expresso spoons and it fits perfectly. ... show more
