I'm not super clumsy but I drop my phone as much as the average person, and sometimes from higher places because I'm tall. BUT my phone has not been damaged a single time. I take it apart and clean it every month or so with a sanitizer wipe to keep it clean and check on my phone (which is hidden inside the plastic part inside the rubber part of this phone case I'm reviewing). I got the phone case in Jan 2021 and haven't replaced it yet. My little sister pulled off the protective part over the thumbprint a few months ago but the case still works great. This case is NOT water-resistant, and when water gets in it you have to take the case apart to clean the water off (or wait for it to air-dry, which sounds like a bad idea). I do NOT recommend treating this as a water-resistant phone case because it's not. I'd recommend this case for anyone, and I'll probably get another one later. In short: -Super durable, my phone has never cracked or been scratched (I also have a screen protector on the phone in the case) -Takes a sec to get a hang of taking the case apart -NOT water-resistant, water can get stuck in there and you have to take the case apart to dry it off -Can't use the fingerprint recognition very well with this case unless you rip that part off (which you can without ripping any other part of the case) -The protective part over the screen can get a little dirty and sticky (if you get your fingers sticky), so be sure to keep it clean so you can glide your fingers smoothly -The protective part over the screen is a few millimeters higher than the screen, so sometimes it takes a sec to detect the heat from your finger (that being said, it doesn't work well at all when your fingers are wet) -Make sure when you plug your phone in in the dark that you're plugging it into the plug and not the bottom part of the case (did that a couple times) -I still HIGHLY recommend a screen protector because it's about keeping your phone from breaking, and yes your touchscreen still works well with both a screen protector and this case -The case gets scuffed with time (mine has a few dark corners), but that happens with all cases. I don't mind the corners but if I start to mind I'll definitely buy another one exactly like it ... show more

I ordered this cover for my new SE 2020 phone. It fits well and has protected my phone. I like that it wraps around the beveled screen edge without interfering with the use of the screen. My main complaint is the cover shows wear very quickly. The back edges are dark ( I ordered the red cover) and it looks dingy. This probably wouldn't matter on a black cover, but on the red it really shows. So for phone protection, I give it 5 stars, durability 4 stars. I did removed the plastic screen protector and am using the tempered glass one I already had on my phone. I think the plastic screen cover would work on it's own adequately, but did not work over the glass screen protector I already had in place. All in all I would recommend this cover, especially for the price. ... show more

I was looking for something similar to the old Otterbox case I had for years! This works and is a lot cheaper! I removed the screen protector because I already have one on my screen. It was pretty easy. I like the feel of it and believe it will protect my phone altho I hope I never have to find out!

Case was fairly simple.tp install, though a bit different than what I'm used to (more parts). I got the dark turquoise/ light turquoise color combo. Colors are nice and the case is pretty sturdy. I've dropped the phone a couple times with no damage whatsoever. The screen cover, on the other hand, is difficult to use. It is thick plastic, which is fine. But it doesn't have an adhesive so it flows above the screen. That means you have to press down pretty hard sometimes to get the screen to recognize input. Not necessarily bad enough for me to return it, but definitely a hassle and I wouldn't purchase another one with a screen protector like this. Additionally, there is a very thin film over the home button (see photo) and after maybe 2 months of use it is already pretty damaged (the film, not the button). While this also isn't the end of the world, it is bothersome and I keep expecting it to tear. Overall a decent case but could use some improvements to the screen cover. ... show more
