Got this case in red for my Dad’s iPhone. One day he dropped the phone without realizing it while he was sitting in his motorized recliner chair. As luck would have it, he was returning the chair to its normal position not knowing that the phone, in its case, had slid under the recliner. Long story short — we heard a slight Crunch! I purchased this case for my new iPhone 8. I have used i-Blason cases before and found them to be well made, offering excellent protection. This case meets those expectations. Obvioulsy the uncased phone is gorgeous but I feel like its always a heartbeat aways from shattering, so a case is a must-have. This i-Blason case adds some bulk to the phone, but it looks great, and the clear back allows most of the phone to show. My previous cases all had a solid back, so time will tell how this holds up against scratches. But, better the $20 case than the $700 phone right? It doesn’t quite have the grippy feel of my old case, but it might just be the newness of the case. It provides much better grip than the smooth phone itself. I had initially tried an iphone 8 plus - and also ordered an i-Blason case for that phone. It was beautiful - it almost made me want to keep the plus! I was hoping i-Blason would use the exact same case design for the 8 but they don’t sadly. Still, this one looks better than I expected and I am very happy with my purchase. The button controls seem to work ok with slightly muted feedback. The cover over the silence switch is thick, and it is difficult to use the switch. Not impossible though. The cover over the lightning port is also thick and very stiff - I worry about the tension on the housing of the cable when inserted. Again, I would think this will loosen up with use. Those would be my only two minor concerns. Also - hats off to their engineers - they added a slight gap at one corner between the housing and the face panel/bezel. (This wasn’t on my old iphone 5 case). This makes it much easier to separate the case when needed. Nice touch! ... show more

These things are excellent cases, and for the money they are a no-brainer. They may not last as long as other very high priced cases, but I’ve owned high prices cases that didn’t hold up as well as these. The built in touch screen works great 95% of the time; the only time it doesn’t is if your phone gets wet and moisture seeps in between the screen and screen protector. It can get scratched up though if you’re careless with what you have up against it in your pockets or purse. I tend to drop my phones a lot, and have NEVER had any damage to the phones. The only real drawback I’ve found is that on some models the opening for the silence switch is too small to get your finger in, so you have to use a key or pen cap, but the newer models I’ve purchased don’t seem to have those issues. So overall, these are excellent. I highly recommend them and they’re the only cases I’ll buy. ... show more

I LOVE THIS CASE!! It matches my bright red IPhone SE perfectly! The case is a bit difficult to put on but only if you don’t read the short instructions (like me haha!) but that just means it’s more durable! I was hesitant to get a case that goes over the screen too, but oh my goodness this has been AMAZING. I have taken it in the shower and NO moisture got trapped under the screen, which has been the one problem I used to have with these types of cases. It fits flat, keeps my phone safe and clean, and looks cool! It doesn’t impede on anything, and you can’t even notice that there’s a whole case over the front of the phone unless you think about it. ... show more

My wife and I both bought an Apple iPhone a couple of years ago. I immediately bought this case for my phone for protection even though I am quite careful in its use. However, I have dropped it a few times and this hard, rubber case has protected the phone and kept it looking new. My wife doesn't use her phone very much but when she does is more careless than me, so I decided to get her the same type of protective case, but with a different color.     • Good for the money but 1 technical flaw that drives me nuts

Durability- solid! I have dropped my phone in this case a number of times and am so thankful I have it. It’s like a helmet for my phone, life saver! Bulkiness- I find the size of the case to be appropriate; it doesn’t make me feel like I have a huge otter box case on my phone but I still feel confident it will work Accessibility to buttons- the outer rubber doesn’t cause any impediment to accessing the different side buttons or power cord input 1 design flaw- this might be a personal issue but it’s got me close to buying another case. Again: it this didn’t happen I would have given it 5 stars but it has me on the brink of spending more money. I am an avid cyclist and I mount my phone near my bike handlebar so occasionally sweat drips onto the the phone. And like clockwork the droplet of sweat gets between the case and phone right where the space bar location is! It enters by the finger print button. As a result my space bar is deemed ineffective making it impossible to use the phone to text and difficult to take pictures and use other apps that require pressing down in that area. When I am riding it’s extremely frustrating because my two options to fix are 1) take off the case and dry or 2) let it evaporate. I always go with 2) because I don’t have the time to jump off and fix. Again- if I didn’t have this issue that is likely unique to the situation, this is a 5 star case ... show more
