I got a new kitten from a county clear the shelters event. He was about 3 months old and had all the usual things you'd expect from being a rescue (worms, fleas, eye infection, respiratory infection, etc). From the start, he had trouble with #2, but I hoped that after all his treatments (which included 2 separate rounds of antibiotics and dewormer) his system would adjust. When he was about 5 months old, it went from not great to concerning. He was still making it to the litter box, but it was a puddle of pew! and he'd often step in the puddle while trying to cover it up (he did not appreciate the foot baths that were required). I had tried 4 different foods, sweet potatoes, other remedies, and nothing seemed to make it better or worse, he just seemed to be getting worse over time. Still had plenty of energy, no abdominal pain, etc, so it was tough to decide whether to keep trying changes at home or finally make a vet appointment. This was my last stop before the vet. After 48 hours, his #2s are back to being formed and do not smell nearly as horrible as his previous trouble. It's still early days, but I'm so grateful that he was able to get relief without further rounds of medicine in his young life (he's now about 6 months). Definitely recommend giving this a try! I also bought some Nature's Variety Digestive Health topper treats that were also meant to help with his troubles and gave him 2-3 each morning and night to help him along. After buying at least 5 other dry cat foods for my new cat, I finally came across this product, and my finicky cat loves it. They are relatively small little pellets. The smell is not offensive at all. Wholesome ingredients and very reasonable price for such a good quality food.

I first bought the small cans of canned cat food for our cat Bree , I make her a cat smoothy with a pate and added water maybe twice a day . Bree has a vomiting issue so I was happy to find that she only puked twice in over a monthes time of eating theI Love You brand canned cat food . We also give Bree a kibble food every day so I decided to try out the same I Love You brand on her kibble . Yesterday as soon as amazon left it at our door I opened the bag . I was happy to see that Bree was right there as soon as it was opened and she smelled her new kibble . She does know the flavoures that likes and she loves beef , all other things she gets tired of or hates . Turkey , she hates turkey ,see food she gets tired of fast , chicken she toerates . I ordered her the chicken pumpkin seed kibble for her tummy issues and she seems to like it , its only been one day so far and she looks to be happy for it . I am rcomending this brand of cat food for your cats to try out . I have seen that my cat in almost two months of eating the canned food is vomiting a lot less . Her coat has gone into that super velvety soft feel . My cats LOVE this food and I have been buying it for about a year now. They love all the flavors, but the fish one is their favorite. High quality at a price you can't beat. My cats are piglets, and the large bag lasts a month.

When we adopted our 4 year old, he came with the name Big Boy from the shelter because of his muscular and overweight size. The big bags of kibble from the store are cost-effective and seem great until you really learn how to read the labels (sawdust Purina Naturals?) Our cats are our family, and as we transition from fast-food and microwave meals so did our cats to I and Love and You chicken kibble. I’m not thrilled with the vegetable additives in it but the cost/ingredients ratio makes this perfect for our cats. This product is the perfect entry level kibble for healthier cats. We’ve been on this kibble for one year now (minus one hiccup we had to revert to a cheaper kibble) and I promise there is a difference in behavior. Transitioning to I and Love and You, we noticed our 4 year old is so much more active, both in playing with us and our 1 year old kitten. Our “Big Boy” is just muscular now (so much so that we want to get his weight-loss checked, just in case) and our kitten is lean as well. Despite that we free-feed, the cats eat less without the carb overload, so the smaller portion lasts as long as the cheap, bigger bags. I definitely recommend! ... show more
