  • This best value tablet for drones
I fly 2 drones and this tablet works great with both. If your a DJI owner it works great with Air2s and Mini2.

  • Forgets what it's doing, formats itself, lots of bloatware and spyware
I bought it for the specs, which mostly check out. It's only 3.75GB of RAM but that's typical computer stuff. It's slow though, mainly because of everything running in the background. I installed an app that shuts off background apps but they take priority and just restart, It never fully sets up and kept reminding me to set it up. Since it can't be fully setup, it forgets its settings and it reset itself to factory default. The permissions literally say the setup can't be altered or shut off. It will recognize an SD card but then forgets it. I tried 3 different sizes and types and it just drops them after 30 seconds. Can't read books or watch movies off the SD card. Plugged into a PC it just continuously finds and loses the SD storage. If you swipe towards the left, Google is always running a plethora of things on the internet in the background. I really don't need the latest news stories continuously cached to read later. If I want to be on the internet, I'll open it. Google assistant is always running also, listening in. Can't be disabled. Also, I can't disable most of the permissions to stop alerting me for things the bloatware is trying to do in the background. Almost 4gb of RAM and half of it is always occupied. Maybe I got a defective one but it seems like all the negative reviews online say the same thing. Oh, and I did almost lose my tf card in the sim slot also because it's not marked. ... show more

  • Fairly good tablet in a crowded field at this price point.
I got this tablet to use around the house, since I don’t always have my phone with me. I’d been burned a couple times on eBay by cheap tablets from China that essentially have the OS modified to display features (Android version, memory, storage) that the tablet doesn’t actually have. These are mostly in the $50 - $100 range. I figured that something on Amazon might be a bit better and while this was the case, this tablet left me wanting more. The good: After checking a few different ways, I discovered that the tablet had exactly the features as advertised. No modified OS to mask deficiencies. The tablet is also pretty crisp and the screen responsive. It only comes with Google apps and no additional bloatware (which I really appreciated). This means that I can customize it more easily. The tablet comes with a charger, stylus (not a pen, the stylus just replicates a finger press) and some reasonable quality headphones. The bad: The tablet feels cheaply made. I ended up buying a cheap case because I was concerned it might break. It also struggled to stream a YouTube video in 1080p (high definition) via the YouTube app in full screen mode (no other apps running). The frame rate was noticeably lower from time to time. Though it didn’t stop to buffer, it did stutter noticeably on occasion as well. I suppose on a screen this small 720p is probably quite acceptable, but I was hoping for just a little more. The speaker was surprisingly good, but at full volume, it’s not very loud. It also seemed to slow with multiple apps open. On a budget tablet, this is understandable, but I only had Gmail, and Chrome open (with about 4 Chrome tabs) and it started to get a bit laggy. I did have a bit of a problem with battery life. During use, it seems to go through power pretty quickly. I also noted that it didn't maintain a charge for very long, even just sitting. After making sure all of the apps were updated, I did a hard restart and it seems much better. Battery use while running apps feels a little fast, but it's much better than it was before. Additionally, the battery lasts about as long as expected now when the tablet is not in use. The verdict: At this price point, there are probably some better units out there. Heck, for the money, I’d almost take my chances on a somewhat older, more name-brand like Samsung from Craigslist or Facebook marketplace. This is an incredibly competitive space for tablets and I just can’t see myself buying another like this for that money. Overall, it’s OK. Your use case may be different. If you’re looking for a new, inexpensive android tablet and don’t want to risk counterfeit units from overseas, this might work for you. ... show more

  • Slow processor, SIM card reader not functional
I was looking for an 8" Android tablet with a full HD screen and was hoping this would fit the bill, but the processor is really slow. The Geekbench 6 scores were 84 and 670 for single & multi-core. In comparison the Nokia T10 (another 8" tablet) has scores of 371 & 1353. The screen was okay, but not vivid. The processor was able to keep up with YouTube no problem. However its Widevine security level is only L3, so some apps will not serve up HD content to this tablet. This defeats the purpose of having a FHD screen. I was willing to live with these deficiencies but the card slot situation is rather horrid. There are two slots. There is no labeling of which slot is for the microSD card and which is for the miniSIM. Finally by trial and error I was able to insert and mount a microSD card. That means the other slot is for the SIM. Then by trial and error there was only one orientation where the SIM card would click in place. So that should be it, but the system still said "no SIM card". I tried to cards with no success. I tried to contact the manufacturer using the link from Amazon and got no reply in 3 days. That means one of the advertised features of this tablet is non-existent. It was supposed to get 4G LTE. I returned the unit. If you are looking for a small Android tablet, look elsewhere. The Nokia T10 is decent. I wish it had a FHD screen, but the battery life is really good with just HD. Or consider the Samsung A7 lite. ... show more

  • Bought 3, all FAILED WITHIN 1 WEEK
They work until they need charging, then they fail. No amount of charging or combination of different charging cubes or cables will charge them. They cannot be reset, because they won't even power up at all. DO NOT BUY THIS TABLET!
