First of all after reaching into the package and the first touch of this duvet cover I vocally let out a “OooooOooo!” Not only is it beautiful, but it’s amazingly pleasant on the skin! There was a bit of a clean breeze detergent smell on the cover, but it was pleasant to me. As my first duvet cover I will not lie - I didn’t realize the skill it takes to put these things on, haha. After finally defeating the user error skill gap I noticed that my comforter fit super well and stayed in place. I’m very happy with my purchase and highly recommend anyone that is hesitant about making this purchase to just go for it! You will NOT be disappointed. We got this duvet cover to be more breathable and natural than a polyester blanket that makes us sweat. We are taking care of my wife's mother, and we thought the duvet cover would be good for her so that it is warm but also breathable. She loves it! I think she sleeps very peacefully in it! It is white, thick, and well made. We plan to tie dye it. It's nice that it's white, because you can dye it whatever color you want or just leave it white. I ordered this in King I love it so much. After seeing something similar at three times the cost in the mall, I couldn’t get the idea of a linen duvet out of my head. Since I was spending so much less money, I was certain that it wouldn’t feel as good and look as good, but this is pre-washed super soft linen and it feels great. I live in a Fourseasons climate and I’ve already experienced The Four Seasons in the past week, and it’s suitable for all of them. I wasn't sure I ordered a king size, and I wanted to stuff it with a queen size bed cover. But I found a nice king size and heavy bed cover and put it in there. One thing of note, the strings that you're supposed to secure the cover in were EXTREMELY short, I had to add some string to make it useable to hold the cover in place inside the duvet cover. Other than that, it works very well as expected. (Just need much longer string ties!) ... show more

I'm so happy with this purchase! Typically, I am a hot sleeper and always have my AC on at least 66. Even so, other duvet covers are non-breathable and can make me sweat. This is such a comfortable set! Keeps me cool at night! Only thing is washing should be done separately from other items and on delicate cycle. I don't have anywhere to line hang the duvet cover, so I dry the set in low-cool and delicate cycle for half the pre-selected time duration.
