  • Works as advertised
I think it is a cool device. It is easier to steer a car then pressing the buttons on a standard controller. Having the wheel in your hand just feels more realistic then the normal controller. The charge lasts a long time. I have used it for 4 hours and only saw a notch drop. You do have to plug it into your Xbox to charge. Not having any wires to trip over or have your puppy play with is a plus. I have used it a half dozen times so far and the buttons are still holding up. It does have a 1/4" threaded hole on the back of the wheel which allows you to mount it to "something". some kind of homemade base which is another plus. ... show more

  • Throttle and Brake trigger buttons WILL break
I am on my second wheel due to trigger button breakage. Save your money and buy a real wheel....this substitute is not worth the money. Only had the first one working for 4-6 hours before the left trigger broke. Amazon replaced it, and the second one broke even sooner, but on the right trigger. Great concept, but save your money. ... show more

  • Found some tricks but great overall
So firstly it arrived with no charge and there was no LED indication that it was charging. So I let it sit for a few hrs. Thankfully it turned on and connected. I was playing F1 22 and thought there was a dead zone during a tight set of corners in Monaco, but I found out it was because I was tilting the wheel towards the TV. Once I learned to keep it straight or pull it towards myself there was no dead zone issue. Also used it in wreck fest worked beautifully. There's no sign for a full charge so I let it charge over night but it automatically starts with a half battery on the home screen. But lasts all day you'll know it is charging because the LED light is only on off the dock. As soon as you dick it while the wheel is connected it'll shut off . I can tell I got a used one because the RT is new with a different system that spring and it's wonderful. It does give vibration feed back to an extent and the rubber grip is awesome. The fact that the technically what is mapped as the left and right bumper are actual steel shifters feels so solid and they aren't falppy its a nice solid click as well. There is no aux jack so what I do is just turn a controller on with my headset in that to talk in game or party no big deal. You can change in game dead zones as well . Overall great product so far. ... show more

  • When working great!
The old left button issue still going well. It don't work after a few uses. It's a great controller except for the stupid button issue. Anyone know how to fix?

  • Doesn't work very well, barely usable
This was a Christmas present for my son who had trouble using it and was getting really frustrated. Figuring there was just a learning curve, I tried it out and it's not him at all, this controller just doesn't work very well. A wireless steering wheel seems like a good idea but you have to wonder how well it responds to steering inputs with no mechanical sensor. In this case of this wheel, very poorly. The steering lags behind actual inputs so you find yourself constantly overcorrecting or exaggerating your movements to get it to steer. Turn the wheel a little, nothing happens, turn it a little more and it turns too much. I assumed that using any wheel would be better than the little controller stalk but in this case it's way worse. It's like driving a car that has had its tie rod ends replaced with rubber bands...on ice...while drunk. It seems like they used an inferior angle/yaw sensor for this that is too slow to react and too imprecise. I'm not sure if a wireless steering wheel could ever work perfectly but I do know that current iPhones seem to do ok so I assume Hyperkin just used an inferior sensor for this product. Unfortunately, this is just a worthless product and a waste of money. ... show more

  • Left Trigger (Brake) broke after only a week
Horrible quality. The left trigger broke within a week. Free Game Pass cards expired 15 months before purchase. Would rare 0 stars if possible. I really wish I could get my Xbox 360 wireless wheel to work on the XBox Series X
