  • Awesome
This is a great little system and I have had no problems what so ever, I highly reckoned it

  • Structure issues
Product is not letting the cartridge set in the insert strait it is slightly sideways preventing the game from playing

  • Good system but a few bugs to iron out.
I liked the ability to use the hdmi cord to connect the device to the tv. When identified by the system, game cartridges looked great (crystal clear) on different sized tvs. I disliked the inconsistent system turnover between identifying the atari cartridge vs the SD card. The same cartridge would sometimes play or not . When the cartridge was not recognized, the sd card was displayed. One Hyperkin controller worked well while the other did not work every time. The original Atari 2600 controllers seemed to work better with this system than the included controllers on some of the games. This however was not true with the Wico brand. Wico, although functional with my original 2600, would not move the game characters on the Hyperkin. Overall I am happy to have this system but a little disappointed. ... show more

  • OK if you just want to play the earlier joystick only games
If you need a quick Atari fix and just want to play some of the older joystick games, this is an ok unit for that. It is very slow to boot a game unlike their mega hd which is awesome. It doesnt work with paddles or racing wheels so no break out or indy 500. The image is nice and crisp on the tv so that is its saving grace. I'd say if you are really wanting to play classic Atari carts, then look for a modded 2600 with composite video out. They are 100% compatible with the library and adapt to hdmi with a video converter. This console isnt worth the price. ... show more

  • It’s a keeper!
We were going to return because we wanted a vintage. After we looked at it we kept it. So much nicer than we thought and old games play in it!!

  • Doesn’t work
Game boots ….but is locked. Front bottoms (reset and otherwise….) don’t work at all. You can not start or stop a game. I tried the original SD card and the aftermarket one that Amazon markets for this device. Instructions…. are weak and provide no pertinent information. A complete Christmas failure.
