I bought these skates for my niece. I can say that maybe these are not the best for beginners. The barrings move effortlessly, making these skates more for a novice/advance user. So if your looking to get these for someone who is new to skating, I would start out with training skates before advancing to these. My goddaughter went absolutely nuts for these rollerskates. They were good high-quality material. They are very comfortable for her to wear. And are super cute. She absolutely loves them. I added a little bit of Loctite to the bolt that holds the wheels on just in case.
