I built speaker stands for my rear channel speakers for my home theater set up and was looking for a cushion material for the bottom of my stands. I didn't want the wood base sitting directly on the hardwood floors. I considered green adhesive felt but wanted a thicker material and decided on these sheets of cork. They are perfect for this purpose and help to decouple the speakers from the floor, similar to foam isolation pads for speakers and subwoofers plus they prevent the stands from scratching the floor when moving them around.
