There are no compartments or anything which is my favorite part because it fits whatever I plan to pack for the day. The handles are very durable and can hold a decent weight. I don't have a fridge at work temporarily, so packed my lunch in here along with a reusable ice pack. The ice pack was still frozen after 12 hours. Keeps things ice cold. Definitely too big gor a normal lunch box if you were going to put in the fridge, but it works for my current situation. Bought this for travelling with breast milk on a four day trip. Fit in my carry on perfectly, keep everything VERY cold. The hotel wouldn't refreeze my ice packs so I kept them in bags of ice to stay cold and even with just chilled ice packs in the cooler it kept everything very cold for the trip home.
