My husband bought this board for me for my birthday directly from South Bay. This board is a lot of fun to ride. However... it gives me the worst board rash I've ever had. The material on the top definitely needs no wax but it also grips too well. I rode this board in Montauk on a hot weekend so I was wearing a minimal wet suit. Any skin area that touched the board was seriously irritated and rash-y even after riding only an hour. My knees were completely skinned at the contact points. Not typical for me. My husband tried the board also and had the same experience. The waxless top material is not great. I can only use the board with a full wetsuit which really limits how much I am going to use the board. Not super happy about that. I reached to South Bay but heard nothing back. ... show more
