I bought my Hurrycane in August 2019. It took me a while to get used to using a cane at all but give it a month and you will come to depend on it. I don't know what I would do without my Hurrycane, it helps me walk around my house and I don't fall down. I've thrown it into the car, dropped it numerous times, stepped on the bottom of it by accident a few times but it still is sturdy and dependable. As far as people complaining about it not standing on its own, I find that you just have to balance/adjust it a little and then it will stand on its own. We saw this advertised on TV and picked it up just prior to hip replacement surgery. I never thought I would be singing the praises of a cane - certainly not like Prince - who waxed eloquently about his "Purple Cane", but this hit all the buttons - simple to fold up for luggage, snaps in place, stands on its own. I recovered from hip surgery in just two weeks and my cane sits in the corner waiting for me to pick it up again. During my time using it, I rate it well worth the money. I bought this cane for my mother. She absolutely loves it and feels so much more confident on her feet! The seller, MedMart was wonderful! The first cane came damaged and they replaced it immediately at no cost to me. Would definitely recommend this cane and the seller.
