My children are 40 lbs and 26 lbs respectively and I have to retighten the bolts near weekly. It is strong and it perfect sized, but the bolts just loosen frequently. 4/5 but still very nice for toddlers.

I was worried about putting a pb/j sandwich on this table, for fear that the jelly might stain the top, but it doesn’t! The top even has a little bit of grit to it, but so far through all toddler meals it has held up well. Easily wipeable and super cute.

The table came neatly packaged. It was easy to read instructions and very simple to put together. The table is very sturdy, unlike other tables I have had where my son has fallen off the chair since it was wobbly. It’s very cute and isn’t an eye sore to look at. We love this table!

    • A very well-made table/chair set for little people!

My wife and I have two little people, my son being 4, and my daughter being 2. Both are very active and love testing the limits of pretty much anything within their grasp (and finding ways to get to things that they can't reach). While I regularly have to remind myself that these kinds of things are completely normal for kids their age, it can be difficult to find things that are built sturdy enough that they stand up to my kids. One thing my wife and I have been on the hunt for recently is a sturdy table-and-chair set for times when we need to give the kids (and their friends/playmates) calm activities to do. We recently spent time with some friends who had this set, and I noticed pretty quickly after giving the table and chairs a once-over that they appeared to be built very well - definitely not the chintzy particle-board stuff scattered all over Amazon that I am sure my kids would destroy in no time flat. I was impressed enough that I added this set to our family Amazon cart and, once the price dropped to a point I was happy with, went ahead and picked up a set of our own. Well, after several months with our set, I will say that I have been nothing short of impressed with how well it has held up, especially in the context of our kids. As a few key points, • Build quality is excellent, and everything assembled very cleanly. My wife and I were actually able to make a date night out of it and really enjoyed working together on it. Yes, the wood is layered (plywood), but it's high quality and very clearly built to last. • To date, the only wear I've seen is from when my son decided to stack the chairs on top of each other to make a fort, which quickly resulted in the chairs' toppling to the ground and getting scratched - though only very slightly for as hard as the chairs fell. Otherwise, everything still looks like new. • The table has a very slightly textured but still smooth surface that cleans easily and is perfect for kid-based activities. • While the chairs are rated for kids and smaller adults, I will say that I have no issues sitting on them. I'm 175lb, so I don't typically put all of my weight on the chairs (just to be safe), but they seem well-made enough to be able to take it without any trouble. That said, if, like us, you have curious, adventurous kids and are looking for a sturdy, affordable table/chair set for them, look no further than this one. It's a winner! ... show more

I thought the quality was good, and I really liked the finish of the table. It was really easy to assemble. I have 2 toddlers. Between the constant use with toys, and projects, and climbing, the table top separated and the chairs required tightening every few weeks. Needless to say, this table set would be great at Grandma and grandpa’s house where it isn't used consistently every single day. Maybe it would last longer than 2 months. ... show more
