Well after an eternity waiting for spotter arms that could fit the 2.5” diameter of the Hulkfit cages to arrive, they are finally here. Pros value, crazy value at $50 for the pair with delivery included. This cost 1/4 the price of my Rep fitness PR5000v2 arms! Build quality is robust, but the welds are....well let’s just say not pretty but it’s the same welding QC on their Jhooks and plate holders. Surprisingly they added a strip of UHMW with recessed screws holding them snugly onto the upper arms. At this price point I wasn’t expecting it. Cons: My only gripe with these arms, they have a little bit of slack/play/wiggle against the Hulkfit cage. I assume it would be the same with the newer squat rack since they all have the identical 2.5” columns. I remedied this with a 1/8 “ strip of UHMW on the back of the hooks against the cage. Comparison with the original Hulkfit spotter arms: The newer version has 18” of usable arm space, losing 1.5” of length to the original’s 20”. This is offset by the newer version being 1/4” wider, and the support plate and gusset are substantially beefier at almost twice the length. This will no doubt improve the weight bearing. I’ve included pics of both versions side by side. I haven’t loaded more than 360 pounds on it and can’t attest to the stability near the 500 pound weight limit. It’s not as robust as Rogue, Rep, or Titans flagship spotter arms, but at 1/3 to 1/4 the cost, it’s a no-brainer to get these. Overall, Hulkfit has improved on their original spotter arm design without increasing the price, which was already a great value. Highly recommended. ... show more

TIPS: --Used bushings and a long thick screw for a barbell mount on the upper right arm. --Get horse stall mats. Period. They are the best don't mess with any other thin kind you'll find its a waste of money; if you're going to pay an arm and a leg for at least 3/4-1" thick mats might as well spend a little more on horse stall mats. --Get the rack installed professionally or by a handyman, it's a big deal to know what you're doing for something like this. EXAMPLE UGHHH: If installing in GARAGE CONSIDER THE SLIGHT SLANT of the floor. Just get a professional/handyman. ***ASSEMBLE RACK FIRST THEN PUT UP AGAINST THE WALL to find proper mounting location. DON'T measure the height of the rack then measure and mark the wall. TESTIMONY: Super late review, keep in mind I bought June 1, 2021 when there were no reviews. So, so happy I found this because I been researching locally and online for months and couldn't settle for those super expensive and overwhelmingly heavy duty wall mounted racks that's 3x3, super thick metal, heavy, and some mounts almost high as the ceiling. If you don't know go to a showroom or find someone selling them and check out their setup. Those are too much. PROS: This is a perfect and MUCH CHEAPER alternative at 2.5x2.5, durable, less heavier overall but strong. I believe this is what the majority of people are looking for and it's fairly new on the market so I'm sure it'll catch customers quick.. again, cheap, space saving, and reliable squat rack, plus free shipping! CONS: Minor handful or less of knicks , but nothing to even complain about or that visible or distracting when assembled (especially being shipped to Hawaii). Main 4 black pins aren't fitted to the holes (only reason for 4 stars) so the yellow legs can move left to right a little bit, but placed metal sheet squares underneath the legs to fix the problem! Also the smaller gold pins that help secure the 4 main black pins I mentioned are pretty tight to fit in, but I fixed the problem by sanding/shaving it down so it slides in better. However, I don't use most of them. COMMENTS/RECOMMENDATIONS: They provide the necessary screws to mount to wood and concrete, but not metal. Not a big deal, I ended up buying heavy duty self drilling anchors for drywall instead of deal with drilling into metal. 7-8 anchors on each stringer, supports I think 1,200 pounds total whatever the pounds per anchor is I forget. ... show more

I had issues with delivery as well, some pieces were missing. I contacted the manufacturer directly because stuff was on back order. They gave me all the missing parts and made me whole. Set up was easy and it works amazing now. Happy with the purchase!
