It's like a pen in your hand. Easy to use. It is virtually impossible to burn out because, it cuts off if you apply to much pressure. I feel comfortable with my young daughter using it. I did put the metal blade in a safe area though. It works for my needs.

This tool is best for easy indoor projects like modeling. It is not for construction projects and the description also mentions this. It comes with small collet tools (2.3mm) that are appropriate for light duty. However, you may have some tools for the larger 1/8" size (3.2mm). Luckily, the collet is replaceable and this option is given by simply swapping out the collet, each color coded (see photo). It is best to stick with the small tools because this is a lightweight device. Pros: - Lightweight, nice for small projects - Gets in small places - No cord - Holds the tool well with finger tight collet Cons: - Not a lot of power - Some inconsistent or missing instructions For instructions, look at the web description. The printed instructions don't give much guidance on the tools, and they mention a "red" and "green" LED for charging. In reality, when charging, the tool lights a blue LED which turns green when finished. The charger port is a standard USB-C, which differs from the instructions. I was able to use the sawtooth cutting wheel to open a flap in a plastic light to get a the inside for soldering (see photo). I had just enough power, barely. Still, it was nice to have a small tool to get into the areas. I did notice that the tool would stop frequently when stalled. This is a good safety feature, but it was a bit distracting while trying to work it hard. It is best to stick with smaller projects. I would not attempt to cut off a large screw, for example. This is best left to cutting off small plastic parts. Overall, this is a nice addition to my rotary set. I'll stick with the larger corded set for big jobs, and keep this one for little jobs. ... show more

Very nice cordless rotary tool that's a good value with a decent starter set of accessories. Charged right up (instructions need some work, lights go from blue to green, not red to green - per manual - when charged) and seems to keep a charge. I haven't done long periods of work with it, so I haven't rated the battery life. The sanding, grinding and drilling accessories work well, it's easy to change attachments. There is a little lag when you change speeds, but nothing that should impact your work. It's a basic rotary tool that's very handy since it's cordless. Easy to handle and seems well made. Picked up some additional accessories and will be trying them out. Don't expect any issues, multiple collets - chucks (for different sized accessories) fit in the locking collar so there is a huge range of accessories you can use with this tool. Works well for small jobs. My only issue is that the chuck kept loosening during use. This can create safety concerns if you're using attachments such as the circular saw.

Little handy tool with LOTS of accessories to tackle small craft jobs. It's nothing compared to a Dremel but it'll handle small detailed work especially something soft like plastic.
