These mountain glasses are awesome. They would make a great gift for anyone who loves the mountains or outdoors. So unique and are a great conversation starter. I have hand washed these in order to avoid breakage. I haven't had any crack or chip yet. So far, so good!

The contour on the inside is such a neat touch. It is a warm reminder of a trip to the Grand Canyon. These feel almost like a mix of glass and plastic; they’re a little lighter weight than crystal or even glass. They’re nice to use for your everyday beverage or cocktail. We wanted to love these, but we were surprised when they arrived to discover they looked a bit basic, felt almost like plastic and were pretty lightweight. We’re returning them. They’re fine but definitely not worth almost $70!

I have a similar glass from what I believe is the original company that came up with the mountain peak idea, and it is made in the USA. These are designed in the USA but made in China. The glass on these is a bit thicker which I appreciate, and they're just so much more affordable. One of the other glasses costs almost as much as this entire set - I just can not afford to get a set of the others. I like that the mountain names are printed on the bottom (so you can read it through the top) so you know which one is which - I don't know all of them well enough to figure it out otherwise. We love these Huckberry glasses. We got a set of the Tetons glasses which are beautifully heavy, double walled glasses that work great for whiskey but also other types of liquids too. Do be aware though that some of the mountain styles are double walled (like our Teton glasses) but some are single walled. We bought a set of American Mountain glasses from Huckberry in 2018 and they are slightly less expensive but also are single walled, thinner glass. We still enjoyed using them for several years but they were prone to breaking over time since the glass was thinner. Now that we have the Teton glasses and have seen how thick and lovely the double walled glasses are I'd definitely recommend spending the extra $5 for the double walled Teton series! All of the sets come very well packaged in bubble wrap inside a nice thick box that is very giftable. Buying one more set of the Tetons to give my dad for father's day. ... show more
