I have been using Vive's 2.0 trackers for years, and upgrading to 3.0s was such a worthwhile upgrade. The battery life is much more reasonable for longer play sessions, and sometimes I didn't even need to charge it to play again! They are much smaller and all the promised features like battery life, size, and weight are true. This tracker is so much better than my previous 2.0 trackers. Very worthwhile upgrade, and a good tracker if you have base stations already. Keep in mind you need base stations to use these, so do not purchase alone thinking it will work with your headset out of the box! ... show more

Wanted to try out trackers for quest 3 and these work great. Setup was easy for a person who sometimes struggles with tech. Tracking works great with no drops in connection. Was able to plug them into a usb extender using 100 ft of ethernet to use them in a different part of the house than the pc with no issues. ... show more

I love these things. I only play VRChat so I do not know what other games support these. But I use 4 trackers, two on my feet one on the side of my hip and one on my chest. The chest helps a lot to keep my body from moving up as I sit down as it obscures my vision. Pros: -super easy to set up just plug and and let steamvr pair them - Very tanky accidentally kicked walls with them and dropped them on steel parts of my desk and work fine. -last a really long time, though I plug them in every night and have a full time job so I generally play at most 3 hours a day only had to use spare USB batteries to charge them on the weekend a few times - It really does bring life to the game for me as it makes my avatar feel way less robotic. - fairly easy to rig up a cheap 5000mah cell phone charging battery to the strap. You can buy velcro tape and sew one side to the strap and tape the other to the battery and buy some velcro straps for extra security to quickly install and remove when needed. Honestly 5000mah is overkill they still showed full charge after completely charging them up so if you can go a bit smaller like 1000-2000mah since you can just remove them after they did their thing and throw them back on the chargers. Cons: - I have a small room so my trackers sometimes lose sight of my 3 light houses making my character fly away at the speed of light or turn into some twisted demonic pretzel. - Need so many USB wires and ports for both the computer and for charging ... show more

These trackers do their job really well. I've been wanting full body tracking for a while to use in VRChat, and have not had any problems with these trackers. Sure they are a little expensive, but the market for trackers like this isn't too big. But after having used these for a while now, I highly recommend them if you want to be sure you're getting a quality, and perfectly functional, tracker. Also, if you want an alternative to buying $50-$150 worth of premium straps to hold them, you could buy a pair of crocs and a belt (or shoes), and mount them with a few bolts you can pick up from the hardware store. Just buy some short ones that are the standard size for camera mounting. I attached a pic of what I use. Have fun! ... show more

This is the 3.0 tracker and it works really well. I think it might have issues with tracking during storms. But that's because I went wireless with quest pro. I use Hyblocker's openvr tracking for continuous calibration. It's a must have for kitting out your meta quest pro with index hands.

I went from the 2.0 HTC Vive Trackers, to these bad boys, and they are SUCH an improvement. I no longer need battery packs for my extended hours of use, unless I want to extend past the already lengthy use time. I was delighted to find out that the ports were Type - C as well! Great improvement from Micro-USB. The size of them absolutely shocked me, as they were so small, and track perfectly! Definitely going to get more to add more tracking points to my virtual experience. :D ... show more

I bought a vive 3.0 directly from HTC, a physical store, and lastly Amazon and everything was identical. I got all the components brand new and had no issue connecting them to my pc. If you have been in vr for a while full body trackers make the whole experience extremely immersive and entertaining. The Vive trackers are always perfectly tracked whether its 2.0 or 3.0 trackers. The battery life is so much better on the new ones, so if you can spare the slight increase in price you can get almost double the hours. Just make sure you have plentiful USB ports to spare, base stations, at least 3 trackers, and don't forget straps are not included. (I recommend Tundra Labs for foot straps, and I have a positive opinion on Kiwi VR straps for a solid set of 3 body straps) ... show more
