These are NOT for kids. This is made more for adults. I own many "Chinese legos" and while they are much better value than real Legos, the instructions are usually terrible. I like that it's a booklet type, but even the first steps, you really have to count the rows to put it in the correct spots. The pieces are small too, so you really need good organization. My daughter is obsessed with brick sets, and we've had our fair share of building sets, both good and bad. This set is definitely one of the better ones, in terms of the quality of the bricks themselves. The pieces go together well, and stay together just as well as the name brand blocks. The LED lit waterfall is a really cool touch. I like the fact that it's powered via a USB cable, so it can be powered by plenty of different power sources depending on where the set is displayed. Considering the number of bricks in this set, the instruction book is pretty good. There are many details to appreciate once the set is complete. The only trouble was the fact that we got a couple defective pieces that were not molded correctly. So, the manufacturer could certainly use some improved quality control in that regard. The manufacturer should have made their contact information easier to find, but in reaching out to the manufacturer for support, they did ship me replacement pieces free of charge, as the product listing promises they will do should their be any issues. For the price, this is a really nice building set with a lot of detail and sufficient challenge to build. And, as a side note, I absolutely love the manufacturer's stop-motion video in the product listing showing the construction of the set, as that is also incredibly well done. ... show more

    • Fun to build!
These are great for building set fans, but keep in mind that it's a mini build so the blocks are much smaller. There's a lot of pieces so it'll definitely take quite a few sessions to build, but it's absolutely gorgeous once you're done.

This building block set is made to look like a floating island in the sky with a house, gazebo, and best of all a waterfall that looks like it never-ending flowing with water. On the bottom part there's a deck and even a boat in the water. What is really nice is that the top is surrounded by blossoming cherry trees. There are even a couple of mini characters for a nice touch. The pieces are very well made and fit together very nice and tight. This set does not feel like it will fall apart easily. This set is very fun together, but it look me about an hour to even do the bottom floor part. The instructions are pretty confusing, and it doesn't really tell you which bags have each part so you pretty much have to search every bag for the part you want. I ended up just dumping out each bag, and then putting the pieces in ziplocks when I was done. ... show more

I really enjoyed the challenge of doing this micro mini building set. I was amazed at how sturdy the final design was. It has an extra thick base, so it is easy to pick up for turning while working on it. The floating island is only held up by the waterfalls. You do need to take extra care adding bricks after the island is installed so it doesn’t tilt. I was glad to see that they included full photo instructions on how to put in the lights which are charged by a USB-c cable (not batteries!). In this set expect to spend time sorting the 3320 pieces before you can start building. I did have an issue seeing the lines that distinguish each of the blocks being installed in the instructions. These outlines are very thin black lines. It is also a bit tricky attaching the island, but it is doable. As with most building sets, the single brick trees have issues staying together but other than that it is well designed. I appreciate that they give extra bricks just in case. ... show more
