My son wanted to learn how to play the piano but with his school schedule, he wasn't able to sign up, plus with doing school from home, he really wasn't able to do it. I bought this keyboard to help him learn and so glad I did. Setting this keyboard up was really easy to do. At first we had this set up on a fold out table but eventually did find a cheap stand. He is still considered a beginner but he has been able to learn all of the keys and how to play some of the beginning songs his teacher has been teaching him online. There is even a music stand that you just attach on this keyboard so we didn't have to purchase a music stand separately. While he is still learning, he has been able to play several songs on his own. He has been able to record himself so he can playback and listen to what he needs to work on and we can listen to how he's been playing. The sound quality from the speakers is really good and doesn't sound like a little kids keyboard. He does play with it with the different sounds which if he wanted, he could play a song and then have an orchestra play behind his song. Great for beginners and for those who like to mess around. It has all kinds of different sounds to pick from. Some things I wish were different but all in all its not a bad keyboard. I love that the keys light up to show you what you are supposed to touch.

Nice for a beginner. The light up keys to follow along are nice, and it has several tones and rythyms. It has metronome, and can be used with headphones. It also comes with a small microphone. Plugs in via USB, or runs on battery. There are stickers for the keys that tell you the notes and aid in learning, but it's up to you if you want to use them. You can bend the pitch with a knob on the side, and it has a button to transpose, but I'm not really sure how that works. I've always just changed the key normally. They keys aren't full sized, but like I said, this is good for a beginner. There is an attachment for the top to hold your music, and it's light weight. ... show more
