Definitely super light and feels as cheap as the cost. But it does everything it promises and the keys light up to help with learning. At that price point it's the perfect piano for finding out if they really want to pursue it.

    • Cheaply made, cheap sound that is way too loud. Garbage instructions.

Thought it might be a good entry level toy for my daughter, but the sound quality is garbage. Sounds like the speakers will blow any minute. Every time the unit is turned on the volume levels reset to loud as possible. Super frustrating. Even at volume level 1 it is too loud for headphones. Not going to risk my daughter's ears ever using headphones as they get reset to extreme loudness when the power is cycled. Instructions are poorly translated and hard to follow. Power cord is weak, especially at the port joint. Microphone is garbage and not controlled by the volume buttons. The LED follow along is a nice idea, except there is an annoying background tune that is played throughout that you can only turn down and never mute fully. Bought this too early as a gift that I missed the return window, hopefully the plastic can be recycled. At this point not much is redeeming. ... show more

Fake speakers, tones don't match the instruments they are supposed to mimick. Sound quality is pretty poor. I wish I had gotten something better quality for my son. This had high reviews, but this is mush more of a play around toy and not something your child can really learn on. Seems stupid to say "See Instructions" to find tones 59-99 and rhythms 54-99. I get that they couldn't fit them all on the keyboard, but at least list all of the tones... maybe continue the list where the fake round speakers are. ... show more
