I purchased this computer from United PC Tec. They sent my computer by overnight shipping, but delivery was free. I received one day after placing my order. I was surprised and grateful. I expected to receive it in 5 days, at the least. This company includes their customer service support number as well as their email address and encourage calls if there are any issues. I emailed them with a question and they responded promptly. I ordered this computer because, after January 20th, Microsoft is no longer going to support Windows 7, and because my old refurbished computer was running very slow. I like hp computers and I have a hp printer already. When I saw this one at the low price, I ordered it and I'm glad I did. This computer comes with a 19" Dell monitor. It's a square monitor, and it appears just as big as the 22" rectangular shaped monitor i had. The monitor's base sits up higher than the hp monitor, and is extremely sturdy. It has a wired mouse and a little keyboard. It's a small, no excess keyboard. The keyboard and mouse are new. The monitor and computer look new. They are no scratches or dents This has built in speaker....no need for external speakers, but external speaker can be used. The internal speaker's volume doesn't get loud even at full capacity. This computer runs much faster than the old refurbished computer I'm replacing. Windows 10 is installed on this one.. Windows 10 is a simple operating system. It comes with voice controlled Cortana. Alexa can also be installed on Windows 10. The start screen is different. It's in color. The calendar is listed there. The recent items you used are still listed, games are listed, but basically you just use the search bar for whatever searching for. ( For instance, if looking for the control panel.....you need to type control panel in the search bar. It is not listed in on the start menu.) Your documents aren't listed either. They have a separate icon on the task bar. This was easy to set up. I just answered a few Window's questions. Entered in my product number and it was ready to go. Chrome and Firefox are already installed on it. United PC has placed the product number on the computer using a sticker. You won't have to search for it. The computer was packaged securely for shipment. . I like having a desktop. I paid 130. for this and I couldn't be more pleased with the computer and the price. I mean the monitor alone looks like it should cost 130. It's really solid....better than the hp monitor I had. This one is not going to accidentally topple over. The screen is clearer, too. When we purchased a desktop computer in 2000. We paid over 1200. for the computer alone. It was customized with a lot of stuff we didn't need or use. This is perfect for us. it's been almost 2 yrs since i bought a renewed desktop, last couple were worthless . So i bought a chromebook and it's still working, just missed all the functionality of a desktop

Okay, if you're wanting an amazing computer, this isn't it. I've built most of my computers throughout my life and loved upgrading them and really having an awesome computer that does what I want. But with everyone staying home, we needed a very basic computer for the kids to watch shows on, print school work off of, and do educational games. We needed our computers to work, so we suddenly needed another computer. Knowing that we didn't need anything fancy, I saw this and snagged it. Most of the time you'd pay almost this much for just a monitor, keyboard, and mouse, so to get everything was wonderful. Just out of the package, I was impressed with the monitor brand, size, and quality. The keyboard and mouse were super basic cheap ones, but they worked. I HATE this windows more than I can say, but that's a personal preference. One day when I have time, I'll probably put an older version of windows on it. The true negatives were that within the first week we realized we needed to order speakers, because it just uses the computer speakers. It doesn't come with speakers, so I didn't take away stars for that. I just wanted to mention that if you want to watch videos or anything on your computer, you may want to order them now. The internet was also really unreliable, which would probably be only true complaint. It would just not find the internet at random, so we'd have to restart. We bought a better USB wireless internet, but it really hasn't gotten any better. I'm not sure why. We may other computers and a laptop, so it isn't our connection. All in all, I would buy this again. I think it's a smoking deal. It would be a great gift for an older person, kids, or someone who really doesn't need to do a ton on their computer.     • Easy on your wallet, might waste some time
Everyone is aware of what's going on outside right now. I am not that much by way of tech savvy, but I'm in school and my rinky dink laptop couldn't even run outlook without crashing. I searched for a desktop, because I needed one like...Yesterday. I also needed one cheap. I bought through Bervie Electronics (also marked Atlantic Electronics elsewhere). The item had shipped the day I ordered it, and arrived very quickly. I was beyond grateful because again, oh god did I need it. The computer showed up at 6 pm and that's where it all started going a bit haywire. It was very well wrapped and protected. The items themselves were clean and had very few dings themselves. Setup was... Tedious. The cord to connect the monitor to tower seemed to be used. I connected and was met with skewed pictures, random blotches of neon and dead pixels, lines running across the screen. I tried what I could, running through multiple things. I turned on the colorblind filter and that helped a bit. After a restart I got about 10 minutes of a clear screen. Don't really have time to replace or go through similar processes so I ordered a new cord and if that doesn't work, then I'll have to get used to neon I suppose. The wifi dongle came attached...In the back, and didn't work until attached in the front. I spent overall 6 or 7 hours setting up the computer. All in all though, the computer itself (HP Elite 7900) runs beautifully, and my heart blooms at the idea of it NOT crashing the moment I try to check my email.
