I do agree that the assembly is a bit challenging. Having another set of hands would make all the difference. When the arms are connected to the center bit, they have a tendency to swivel or move. BUT DO NOT TIGHTEN THEM COMPLETELY UNTIL THEY ARE ALL CONNECTED then you can go ahead and adjust spacing and tighten. The other challenge is that for both the black and the white electric wires, there are SIX of each that all need to be joined in one cluster - all six black together and all six white. You need to take it slowly and use a large twist on wire connector...the ones included are not really large enough so buy a few of the next size up. The end result was worth any complications or annoyance ... it is not the easiest thing to assemble but I love the final result. Nice farmhouse chandelier but the wiring assembly design could be better. You need 2 people for installation, one to hold the light while the other person tries to put a small wire nut on 7 wires. We ended up buying a volt meter to figure out why our first attempt at installation did not work. Once we fixed the wiring issue, it has worked beautifully ever since. We have it hanging on a sloped ceiling with only one link and the straight rod. ... show more

This is my favorite light fixture in my whole house. That being said, they cut every corner possible. It comes in a tiny box, because it is just a box of parts. My husband is in HVAC so he is familiar with electrical installation but he definitely had a bunch of comments about how crappy the seller is. Specifically how they didn't even put proper wire nuts in there. If you don't know what you're doing, look elsewhere. ... show more

While I love the overall look of this, it was difficult to assemble and stay put together. We couldn’t get the rod and lower part of this light fixture to stay together. And threading the wires together was awful with the provided screw nut they supplied. One of the arms was bent, so having to send this back. ... show more

This comes in pieces and requires assembly. ALL assembly. You’ll have to wire the piece, make all electrical connections, and build the chandelier before you can hang it. The wire nuts were too small for size and I had to purchase more. It is flimsy, and difficult to join securely.
