This queen bed was easy to assemble, as 1 person it took me about 1.5 hours to setup. This velvet is jet black and very beautiful and it seems sturdy enough too. The finish on the metal is polished and not painted which is great. I actually really love this bed.

Bed is sturdy, no written step by step instruction, just pictures and numbers, some of the screws didn't aligned with pre-drilled holes, make sure you screw the bolts into the hole first before you assemble each piece to ensure that it fits and won't cross-thread.
