I bought this 36W/3600 lumen LED flush mount light fixture to replace a chandelier-type fixture hanging over my kitchen dining table. I didn't like the low-hanging light obstructing my view out the windows or the glare at eye level. This LED flush mount light is a big improvement for the money! PROS: 1) The fixture has a discrete, clean, and modern look. 2) The light is very bright for a 10'x12' room. Brighter than the 52W and 4800 lumens in the old chandelier. 3) Installation was relatively quick and simple. The included hanging cable is very helpful. CONS: 1) The braided black and white wires are only stripped and soldered about 5/16" (so, I stripped another 1/4" for better connections). 2) The provided wire nuts are too small to use with solid copper household wire (so I used the old ones). 3) Some light bleeds out between the light fixture and the ceiling (although some people might not care). Bottom Line: It's a good, bright, low-profile LED light for the price. I personally prefer a little warmer light color in the kitchen. This would be better suited for a laundry/utility room or garage in my opinion. ... show more

Produces a nice bright light which is what I wanted. Replacing my previous fixture was a snap. This light is very functional and a good large size. Since it's so light, a one man installation is no problem. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because there was no mounting hardware in the package, and I know there should have been. All I needed was two wire nuts and two screws which I had on hand, so I didn't bother trying to contact the company. The story ends well, with a very nice new light for my ceiling, so I'm happy. ... show more

I've installed quite a few of these as I'm converting my home over to them. I like how it has the wire that hangs down to suspend it while working on it. The things I didn't like is the cheaper backing plastic. It made it feel cheap and not solid. I've had other plastic ones but they seemed more durable and solid. Not saying it doesn't install and work fine, it does. It just "felt" cheaper than others. Again, the light works great and is super bright. ... show more

The light has a handy cord to keep the fixture in place during installation. The instructions were clear enough. The light is nice and bright for our utility/laundry room. Two minor issues: There is some light leakage around the top of the fixture, and there doesn't appear to be any place to hook up the grounding wire - perhaps because it is an all plastic fixture? Regardless, it was a nice upgrade from the garage style fixture with chains that was in the laundry area previously. I would recommend. ... show more

This ceiling light is sleek and bright. It has multiple settings for different K levels. It is easy to install and is decent size. Two critical feedback areas are it’s missing the mounting plate to the ceiling as that’s not included and I felt the like could have been more brighter.

The kitchen was overdue for a new lighting fixture as it was still an old florescent fixture. It was a 2 bulb light that was, combined, 65 watts and 3800 lumens. It got hot and was pretty heavy unlike this light. Upon opening, first thing I noticed was that it was nice and big, but lightweight. It is a lightweight plastic so I wasn't expecting anything fancy, just a big, bright light that would cover the old fixture's imprint. This is a great replacement! It looks awesome up there, comes in at half the wattage, around 36 watts and 3600 lumens, which is close enough to the old one that there really isn't much difference in brightness. It doesn't hurt my eyes when I'm in the kitchen and its not an overbearing type of brightness. This light is much easier to clean than the florescent light was and since its water resistant, I can just wipe it with a damp towel. I'm glad I ran across this light, Its nice and bright and was a perfect replacement for my old kitchen fixture. Oh yeah, very easy to install as well! ... show more
