This ranks up there in one of the noisiest records I own. I actually half think I received a counterfeit copy it’s so bad. There is a low volume static sound throughout the entirety of both disks in the right channel and many pops and clicks on side D especially. And no, I don't own a shitty Crosley or Victrola. I spun this on my German made Philips turntable with a shibata stylus into a tube preamp. It's not the player. It's the record's horrible QC. Aside from sounding terrible, the center holes are sloppily punched as well. In fact, disk 1 didn’t even fit on my spindle. I had to gently widen it with a knife to make it fit. The outer edges of disc 2 weren't correctly trimmed and as a result, it has very sharp edges. I've been wanting this album for a long time but the quality issues on this album are a deal breaker. It’s a real bummer because apart from the surface noise, the mastering is actually pretty good. Nice, satisfying deep bass, wide soundstage, and crisp highs. But I didn’t pay $50+ for a record with distracting surface noise. For that money, it should be pressed by Pallas on virgin vinyl. Pretty disappointed in United Pressing's awful quality control. ... show more

I have an AT-60 and aside from a single skip I’ve had 0 issues with this record. While I won’t deny it has some warping giving it the 4 stars the skipping issue seems to be with the needle. With heavy and technical songs like the weeknds I think most of the issue lies more in the fact that a lot of these people are playing off of victrola-esque suitcase record players instead of more dedicated ones. So my recommendation, if you’re going to buy this record make sure you have the record player to back it up there are many cheap quality ones on the market so it isn’t a big money sink. ... show more

I mean I remember when this album was dropped no one knew who it was... I remember a buddy of mine coming over to the house before we went out and tossed this on playing “the morning” and “glass table girls”. I couldn’t believe my ears. Fast forward 8/10 years and The Weeknd is one on the biggest artists out. And in my option making junk music now... with This I can rewind the clock to my younger years dive into a great album. Obviously amazing on vinyl. I would buy the album again and again. I hope this was helpful. ... show more

Album came packaged extremely well. however, there is some slight ring wear but i don’t mind. no scratches or anything! vinyl sounds amazing. also chose the slowest shipping but took about 1/4 of the time it said it would!

This vinyl is everything I hoped it would be! Listening to Trilogy forever and had to resort to finding the three albums individually. Can Amazon get Thursday and Echoes of Silence in stock please?
