These are by far the best bamboo sheets and duvet cover. I’ve tried. These are extremely soft and cooling. Even after you wash them. The price is also a fraction of some of the more expensive brands, which I think are far inferior to these. I have been looking for the best sheets for the last 10 years and I used to only shop cotton sheets which ran up to $400 for the duvet cover and sheets may be a little bit more than I discovered bamboo sheets, and these are so much better, they are also a fraction of the price. Also, don’t forget if you don’t have a good down comforter with at least 80% down or down Phil versus water fowl feathers it will not be as comfortable. Most people in the United states don’t know what a nice down comforter is supposed to feel like. They are very soft when you squeeze the comforter and doesn’t make a lot of noise unless it’s mostly water fowl feathers and very little down. I remember when I was a kid I thought it was weird how my friends had a horrible blanket and a sheet vs a duvet with a duvet cover. I digress. ... show more

I am a HOT sleeper, as in I run the air conditioning during the winter hot sleeper. I had heard that bamboo sheets were an option for hot sleepers and so I decided to give this duvet a try. I didn't have high expectations. Oh man, it was worth every penny! It cut down my hot sleeping so much. Additionally, it's incredibly soft and only gets better after washing. It can wrinkle, but the wrinkles are not terrible. Interior ties help keep the blanket in place. The only issue that I have with this duvet is the fact that the stitching appears to been poorly constructed. This is only noticeable if the duvet is turned inside out, but it does make me question the integrity of the duvet. I guess it's going to take a few more washings to determine this. 12/28/2022 I'm still rocking the duvet, though stitching still is questionable and obviously cheap. I'm having problems with my blanket pulling free from the ties. Did the duvet get bigger? It seems my blanket doesn't fit as well any more. I am also questioning how much longer the cheap zipper will hold. I'm not changing my rating as the duvet has held with multiple washings AND travel as I take it with me as I work abroad to use on my hotel blankets due to my hot sleep. I think, for price, recognizing the potential for seem and zipper failure, it's still worth the purchase. This is the compromise between the big bank bamboo duvets and cost affordable. ... show more

Super soft and good quality. For others that own this How do you dry it and not go crazy? Everytime I put it in the dryer it ties itself up in a ball because the fabric is so slippery smooth. Any tips?

    • My favorite bamboo sheets!
I’ve tried many brands of bamboo sheets, including Cariloha, ettitude, JOMO, Linenwalas, and Luxome. This brand is the most buttery soft! There is a sateen weave, so the side with more of a sheen is the will feel smoother and softer. The sheen is fairly subtle, but visible in the light. They also seem to be one of the coolest brands, despite being thicker. Don’t expect miracles! If you don’t have A/C or your A/C broke, it’s still best to sleep without a top sheet or blankets/comforters/quilts, if it’s really hot. Dark colors will feel smoother right away vs. white being cooler, due to the dyes/lack of dyes. Bamboo viscose will get softer the more it’s washed. Wash cold, dry low. No fabric softeners! Only launder with similar bamboo materials to avoid pilling and damage. Other fabrics and bamboo viscose towels and socks aren’t quite as smooth, so I launder them separately. Bamboo does wrinkle. I don’t think it’s a big deal, if you remove the sheets right away from the dryer. If you’re OCD, then it might be time to invest in a good steamer. If you prefer crisp sheets you may want percale or twill weave sheets. For bamboo viscose sheets Cariloha offers both weaves, in different lines, but I haven’t tried them. The manufacturing quality could be better. You can see the pictures of the many loose threads. This means they don’t have the fancy commercial sewing machines that you press a pedal to clip the string, and their workers are working so fast that they’re not clipping them all. This is not a big deal! Take a pair of scissors and cut the strings. Don’t cut the pillowcase/sheet or stitch/seam. “N” might be correct that they might not be officially OEKO-TEX certified. They’ve stated that they used to manufacture Cariloha sheets, and I believe they used to manufacture ettitude’s sheets (ettitude’s sheets used to have the same thickness and texture as Hotel Sheets Direct). So at one point their products and manufacturing were OEKO-TEX certified. I fully believe their factories are still using closed-loop processes. ... show more
