Hot Racing optional upgrade heavy duty splined star drive axle kit for the TRA electric Stampede 4x4 Slash 4x4 Rustler 4x4 and 2WD Slash FEATURES: - CNC machined 45 hardened carbon steel, S2 spring steel and Aluminum construction - Replaces factory plastic drive axles - Hard Black Anodized Aluminum Slider - Blue anodized aluminum pin capture rings with rubber o-rings to prevent movement - Design eliminated CV pin setscrew - Hardened S2 Spring steel wheel shaft - 45 Steel is black finish S2 spring in Brown finish - Rubber dust boot to keep the Splined Drive for maximum protection against the elements YOU WILL RECEIVE: - Two (2) Rear Cv Splined Drive Shaft spline CVD shaft assemblies - Two (2) M4x2.5x11mm screw shafts REQUIREMENTS: - Installation - Removable thread lock (blue threadlocking compound) on screws threading into metal - Light grease for CV joints and shaft slider splines helps maintain their longevity SPECIFICATIONS: - Approximate overall collapsed length: 113mm COMMENTS: - Replaces factory plastic TRA parts - Replacement parts include: SLD425 (M4x2.5x11mm screw shafts) description revised by: SN October 10, 2018

They are good if pin doesn’t fall out. I put it on my 2wd rustler and on the first run with then on one of the pins slide out and got lost in the abyss so I had to replace them I would not suggest them I suggest mip over these not a great build design they

Used these for probably 4-5 hours before the set screw fell out and was lost forever. The manufacturer isn't easily contacted and unsure of where to find an authentic part that fits this unit. Without this screw the axle is useless, which is why my value for the money is at a 3 of 5. Send a few extra of these screws or make them purchasable. Even with Locktite, they can fall out over time. Never had an issue with the Traxxas branded axles and have 1 of 4 sitting on the car today and it's working just fine. ... show more

Didn't last two minutes , will not be spending another penny on hot racing anything very disappointed 😞.spent to much for stock alxes to be better and cheaper.

Have not ran them yet I put them on a traxxas rusler fit good and seem to be made will hope they hold up
