  • This filter will not only reduces scale, it reduces chlorine, taste, and odor, sediments, and has a bacteriostatic effect that will leave your ice tasting fresh, crisp, and delicious! The 4HC-H replacement filter works with single, double, and triple filtration systems. Replace approximately every 21,000 gallons or 6 to 12 months depending on usage and water condition.
  • Features: Great-Tasting Ice. This filter reduces 99.99% of chlorine, taste, and odor, 99% of rust and corrosion, 99% of sediment, and limescale! This will ensure all your ice and beverage taste delicious and are free of particulates.

These have a weak top inlet that can break off inside the housing. When this happens with the cartridge you are replacing, you may need to purposely break off the top of the new one in order for it to fit inside the housing.

First unit worked for 3 months. I came into kitchen where the ice machine is and I see spraying water coming out of the filter. I look closely and there is a micro crack in the unit. I thought maybe one of the kids hit it with something and damaged it...ok, no worries, I purchased two. I just installed the second one, turned on the water, and believe it or not, water started bubbling up in the SAME EXACT SPOT as the other one, but this time right away. I tried to expose the crack but it is super small, just drops of water was coming out. The bummer part is now I can return them. I'll try and reach out to the company, see if they can RMA both or at least one. ... show more
