I didn't realize when I bought it it's a big rechargeable battery. I'm running 5 big pedals off it and it'll run them all afternoon and then some. Even when it's recharging I can run my whole rig off 1 USB cord! It's really small and kinda heavy. But it looks dope on my pedal board. I get zero hum when running off the battery only. A little hum when charging but my house is old. It's probably me. I'm really impressed with it honestly. I thought it would be a cheapo Chinese thing. I just wanted to throw a quick and easy pedal board together but this thing is really nice. Can't recommend it enough. ... show more

I really like this pedal power supply. It is great and will power a 6 or 7 pedal board, plus your phone or iPad. And it is great that it has a tech stable lithium battery that powers my pedals and my phone at the same time. Some friends and I practiced for 4 hours last week running 4 different pedals and we never lost power. And the great thing is there is no power supply buzz at all! You charge it thru the USB port and it is good for several hours. It would be great for gigging with a full pedal board at least for 4 or 5 hours. You can run up to 7 devices at the same time! Comes with the charging USB cable and 7 cables to plug your pedals in. Neat looking device that delivers everything you need. The company is great with shipping in a cool package and communicate to make sure you are satisfied. Quick shipping and safely doubled boxed. And the price is right. I love this tiny power supply. I am using it on a pedal board for 4-5 pedals. It has 7 outputs. The best part is, it doesn't have to be plugged into a power outlet while I am playing, making set up that much easier. Caveat: to charge it, I have to use an old 15 watt charger that is USB b with a b-c cable. A c-c cable will not charge this device, at least none that I have. ... show more

Play bass at church with a small pedal board, mainly running compressor and tuner pedals. Had a cheap power adapter on them, and the lights/digital screen seemed to generate lots of noise in the AC that would pick up in the house/Avioms. This battery-powered solution has eliminated the buzz. I make sure it is fully charged before a set and it stays powered on from early morning sound check thru both services (7:30am-12:30pm) and has not let me down yet. Can be charged while using but so far haven’t had to. Clean and compact design, feels sturdy with metal enclosure and a good switch. Some sort of charge level meter would be nice. It does have an LED that will show red if getting close but I’ve never ran it down that low. Has ability to plug in a usb to charge your phone etc from it also. ... show more

This has the makings of a really great power supply for a small pedalboard. It's got a decent number of ports, including one providing 300mA. The size is great. The USB-A port is a nice touch and I like that the charging port is USB-C. I didn't have any trouble with noise although I mostly ran analog pedals on it so I don't know if the ports offer true isolation. The problem is it only lasted a little over a year. It simply stopped charging after that. When I plug it in there's no charging light. I never treated it roughly and it barely left the house. I never saw any smoke or evidence of failure. It's just dead. My USB chargers work with other electronics, so I know they aren't the problem. Disappointing, because I bought a second one as a gift for a friend and I've recommended it to multiple other people. Now I'm no longer comfortable recommending it. ... show more

I love this power supply. It's awesome being able to pull my board out, plug in my guitar and go. No running power cables. No showing up to a gig and hoping there's a power supply and that that power supply doesn't add a bunch of noise to my signal. The battery life is amazing. I've started a rehearsal at 645am, played three sets and turned it off at 100pm, and never worried that it would cut out and die. I didn't care for the straight power adaptors. So, I changed those out for 90 degree adaptor cables, but that's not a deal breaker. The included cables work and work well. The charging cable is a bit short, but also not a deal breaker. My only complaint about this thing, and it's not really a complaint. I just wish it had more ports. It has 6 100mA ports and one 300mA. After my tuner, compressor and OD, I only have 4 spots left. Gah, I need more. But again, not a deal breaker, just a wish. I wish they would make a 10 port version so I can get all my pedals on the same board with the same pedal supply. This thing is great. Update: Ditto Looper has a max current draw of 90mA so it can be powered by any of the outputs. The Horse PR-02 Power Supply is surprisingly awesome piece of gear. Totally worth it as a supplemental power device on your board when adding more pedals or as a primary power unit for the on-the-go performer who needs a totally portable setup. This power supply includes a charging port for a phone or tablet, which I imagine would be convenient for a guitarist or bassist that plays along with a backing track from such a device; or if you use a tuner app on your phone, the Horse PR-02 can help ensure that your phone stays charged up and ready to tune your guitar all while powering SEVEN effects processors for upwards of 10 hours!
