The paint produces a nice glittery see-through color. But beware of letting little kids handle on their own; some of our PreK kids squeezed the entire thing into their suncatcher, causing them to take 4 days to dry. Normal amount of paint dried in about two hours

I purchased this as an addition to a suncatcher set and I'm glad I did. The suncatchers only came with 1 set and for multiple kids, you will want more to use. They seem thick and non transparent when applying, but once dry overnight, they were perfectly sheer. These actually look better than the ones the other product came with. They do come out fast on all of these pen paint products. I found that it is best to hold at a 45 degree angle and only squeeze a bit. I gave my kids a tooth pick to spread in the small areas. They seemed to get much less frustrated with paint spilling over the lines and preferred the outcome. ... show more

The colors are bright, vibrant, beautiful. It was easy to use (almost too easy for the little kids, since the spilled). Light comes through and we’re a total hit! Will order again. Highly recommend.

Update: I attempted to add a second coat of color and the first coat began to bubble and peal. So, it dries, but it also sloughs off if it gets wet... Great for messy clean ups, but not great if it's sentimental. 😕 I ordered these to use on inexpensive glasses (no script) in order to do some DIY light therapy. I like that the colors are individually sealed and easy to use. It's challenging to control the thickness, but once dry, should be easier to guage and re-apply, if needed.
