I’ve tried a lot of top brands of can coolers this past year such as Thermos, Yeti, Hydro Flask and Brumate. I’ve always loved Brumate products, but until recently they couldn’t comfortably hold my 12oz cans. Enter in the Duo and it is perfect! A few thoughts on each below: Thermos: - $10 made it big value - Generic colors in whites and greys, but sticker was impossible to remove - slightly large so the can rolled and moved inside - my lip touched the can cooler every drink Yeti: - expensive yet durable - somewhat annoying to screw lid on and off for each can - heavy - lip touched cooler Hydro Flask: - expensive - slimmer in hand which is nice - can be used as a cup or cooler - have to fit silicone on snug for can to be in place (silicone has strong smell) - lip touched can cooler Brumate: - expensive yet durable - snug can fit - larger than hydroflask but very comfortable grip in hand - rubber non-slip bottom - lip does NOT touch can cooler :) - love the color selection I’m so happy with the Brumate Duo and would replace all my other can coolers with this one if I had a choice! I got this for Christmas, and its great. Sometimes when I'm at my desk working on the computer i will sip a beer for a few hours. The first and last sip are both cold. At room temperature your beer will feel like it just came from the fridge for about 3 hours, and still have a slight chill after 4-5. This was given as a gift to me from the wife. I know she meant well. Because I own a few YETI’S. I naturally compare anything else to them. Hopsulator costs about the same. It comes with a few different tops to fit different type brands, I guess? Haven’t found one to fit my brand, found that weird. One top converts it into a cup, which I must say IS 100% LEAK PROOF! However because the cup is small, don’t really use it for that. This really feels quality made and they really got the look down, very 👁 eye catching. It’s ok. It probably keeps my drink colder for a little longer. I’m not sure it’s better than a regular koozie except that it’s more sturdy obviously.
