Contents are good quality and well chosen. Unlike so many other kits the accessories in this are specific to this caliber, so you won’t have any unnecessary items rattling around. The oil is better than average and the bore cleaner is probably the best out there. Not a lot of patches come with the kit. The box is flimsy though, you’ll want to replace it with something sturdier. The snap closures are weak and you definitely don’t want to put the slightest weight on this case. If you’re going to purchase a replacement box (wood or plastic, never metal, so as to avoid any possibility of getting a sliver of steel in your cleaning supplies and scratching up your bore) wait just a bit to see what additional items you end up with so you get a useful size. You’ll probably want to replace the plastic pieces in the kit with brass, and add a brass or nylon scrubbing brush. ... show more

Definitely not the best quality rod or accessories, so don't expect a "high end" kit. And as others have stated, the case is really cheap. And those are the only cons I have. But they weren't really cons for me as I kinda expected this type of quality at this price. Other than that, I'd definitely recommend the set if you're on a budget or if you just need a little kit for whatever reason. The Hoppe's 9 solution and cotton patches are the worth the price of the kit alone. It comes with a sturdy bore brush, a knob end, and patches, so it'll keep your firearm clean and lubed up. And I personally won't be lugging it around, so even though the storage case it comes in is super cheap, flimsy, and won't last long if it's beat up, I didn't buy it for that, so it didn't take a star off for that. I admit, if the case was a concern, I'd be disappointed. But just like the rest of the kit, it's functional and won't break the bank, so I have no complaints. If you're not expecting a "high end" kit, then this is a good buy. It's fully functional and isn't expensive. Got this little thing since I lost my "higher end" kit during a move.
