I am very pleased with the quality of this pump. It's built like my 66 Chevy pickup. No plastic except the gauge and the pump handle. It is a very heavy duty pump and works well. Smooth action. I like the brass pressure relief valve and the fact that the base seems to be cast iron. Another nice feature are the air filters in the intake of the pump handle. It was easy to put together and the instructions were complete and easy to follow. They even supply you with an o-ring kit and the necessary washer that goes between your fill fitting and the hose connection. I thought that was a nice touch. High quality. ... show more

Works as advertised. But you better be in damn good shape if you want to fill a decent sizes bottle! I should've just spent the dough and bought an electric compressor!

Works perfectly, no problems whatsoever. Read some of the reviews that explained about twisting the handle to unlock the pump ,which took a little time to figure out, but after that everything's a breeze.

    • Doesn't work with Umarex Guantlet
I'll update this later if I don't return the Umarex Gauntlet which is turning out to be a massive investment. This pump had better reviews that the Umarex pump so I ordered it. However, it does not fit the Umarex Gauntlet directly and requires an adapter. The best rated adapter appears to be coming from China so it has a delivery date of well into July. Today is June 5th. I would be wary of ordering this for anything other than a Hatsan air gun. I can't complain about the Hatsan not coming with an adapter but it's becoming a bit frustrating and it's clear this industry goes through exhaustive ends to ensure you're continuously investing in needed parts and upgrades. An adapter for use on other air rifles would have been nice. Oh well... ... show more
