I love the look of these lights so much more in person! I was a little hesitant b/c a lot of the pictures make them look more white at the base of the light with color only on the tip. That is not the case at all. The color goes all the way through the bulb. They do get a little warm when all bunched together, but that seems to dissipate when you pull them apart. These string lights are what I would call "tropical" colors. They are not pastel at all, they are bright vibrant colors. Put up as soon as I received them- so far only one bulb has gone out, so am glad that didn't make entire string worthless. They are strung above my kitchen window and I have a garland of colorful silk daisies entwined with them. Each season I change out the lights to correspond to the season/holidays. I loved these lights they were so pretty but they’ve been on for 4 months and one is already completely burnt out. Super disappointing, as I’ve previously had ones that ran for over a year, so I know it’s possible for them to last. Currently searching for longer lasting lights.
