I snapped the handle on another shovel and thought I would give this one a try. So far it's been very durable. I've smashed it straight down into rocks on accident multiple times and nothing has happened at all. Used it to pry heavy roots from the ground and no bending or snapping, very impressed.

I just tested out my new shovel and it is exactly what I wanted ! You know you are a homeowner when something like a shovel is needed! It fits the all of the above on recommendations! I just turned over my garden with it and with the serrated cut side and the weight of my boot planted on the boot stomp area = made the job much easier than previous years. It slices in and like a machine you flip your dirt and - Voila! - your shovel is bottomed out again in the dirt! Repeat! Buy this shovel and you will be as happy as I am with it after my first (of many future!) Go Rounds with it! Put it to work first before you make any judgement.
