Absolutely horrible shocks. They are oversprung and are not assembled correctly with missing components which causes them to immediately leak oil. The ID of the springs is not large enough to fully clear the shock body so they rub on compression which will eventually wear the anodization off of the shock body and causes excessive stiction. Save your money and buy a better designed and made product. These are a disaster. I pulled them from the packaging, attempted to fill them with shock oil which immediately leaked out. Absolute garbage. Leak without any pressure. I was going to put them on a tmaxx build and before I could even install 30 plus days after filling there's a puddle under all of them. Plastic eyes are crap too. Shock springs rubbed paint off in shipment. Nothing good about these.

I read the reviews before I purchased them. People said it leaks and no oil in it. I noticed that the parts were not screwed tighten enough. Therefore I decided to disassemble all the shocks when I got them and put an oil, then put them back together. Now they don't leak and work as it should so far. ... show more

Considering these go on a light beginner RC car they are absolutely amazing, but I used a set on my Traxxas Rustler VXL 4wd 1/10 scale which is a extremely powerful 65+mph car and they still hold up amazing and perform just amazing. The only downside is the plastic mounting point on the top, but when on the hoism they will never break. Definitely 5 star product ... show more

the seals were too small and hard/degraded to seal the oil in the shock. i dont know for sure if it was stored for a very long time in high heat, or possibly a used item but it has been returned. i will try one more time with a replacement and we'll see how this goes. otherwise, seems to be a descent build quality ... show more

The shocks were very well constructed they just did not have oil in them so you have to purchase oil and filled them yourselves

The dimensions are good. The fit and finish are ok for the price. Whatever it is do not fill the shock body with oil. The seals are absolutely atrocious. It leaked immediately. Ruined a whole bunch of parts when the oil leaked and wore out plastics due to grime buildup. If you intend to use it dry, it's probably fine. ... show more
