This product was very simple to use! It met my expectations for a challenging installation underneath my garage door eave and gutter. Placing flashing color C7s beneath that eave creates a cool glowing color effect from the front. Adding this new row of C7s will make the color more vivid. I will also place some clear C7 white lights above the wreath that will help illuminate it. Using drill in hooks was just not practical. These stick on hooks made it easy for my vision to come true. The only concern I have is how long they will hold up. I followed the instructions to a tee (including wiping down the metal gutter with rubbing alcohol) so I expect them to hang for a long time. Plus, these will never be exposed to the sun being under the eave. I am considering them for the icicle lights that hang above the front of that same gutter. With Leaf Filter, you cannot hang lights of the gutter edge so you need to be creative. I will give these hooks a try. Hopefully they are obscure enough to not be noticed by the Homeowners Association inspectors who forced me to remove my prior hook system that takes hours to install. The only concern here is the same as above except in this case the hooks will be exposed to the hot summer sun. Will the plastic hooks hold up along with the glue? Time will tell! I used them to put lights all over my deck, it looks amazing ! They’re so easy to put on as well . Mind you my deck is made out of all wood! Love them and how right away they stick on have been weather proof as well thru rain , now to snow and cold weather 💯

I have used these on my metal gazebo. With hot temperatures they sometimes don't stay stuck. For the most part they work well and are doing the job. Make sure you have a good clean contact point when you put them on, and make sure there isn't too much of a stress point for them.

I've been looking for a long time to find something with which to fasten icicle lights onto the PVC railing on our deck. I leave the lights up year round so they are exposed to all kinds of weather. There have been many worthless clips, hooks, etc., but success at last! These have stayed on through heat, rain, salty air, and cold weather. It hasn't been below freezing yet, so that is the only untested circumstance. Not one clip has come loose and I used 40 pieces for our pretty good size deck. At first I thought this was brilliant. Easy to install... no holes, clear plastic. 2 months later, they have all mostly fallen. This is a flawed product.
