These shelves are great! Super easy to install - the width was not conducive to hitting studs so hope the drywall anchors support the weight of objects on them. Great looking but they def are not wood - they are some sort of composite painted to look like wood.

Installation was not as easy as I thought (still doable by an ordinarily skilled person) but I think it is a trade off for its sturdiness. Very nice color, optimum size and lovely looking. However, one set of shelves arrived in an individual box, and the other two shelves were unboxed and placed inside an Amazon box.
