  • Replacement was sent swiftly
Size: 48" x 24" Rectangular
Initially I was very disappointed because the first shipment came with missing wall mounts and one of the mirrors was partially chipped. I’m a small female so it wasn’t easy pulling these mirrors out of the box, so to put everything back was stressful to say the least. Then I had to cancel with the person coming over to install these for me.. Thankfully after getting in touch with customer service, a replacement was shipped out right away! Unfortunately the person that was installing them for me was unavailable… So I had to impatiently wait to finallyyyy have my gym mirrors installed. But now that they’re up, I am in love!!!! They seriously look amazing, I have gotten so many compliments and questions on where I got them! I am definitely looking forward to shopping for more sets of mirrors in the near future to fill the rest of my wall! ... show more

  • Guide for indestructible mounting to a door
Hey everyone, since so many struggle with mounting these heavy mirrors, I thought I’d write a guide for mounting to a bathroom or bedroom door using French cleats. Even if you’re mounting to a wall, these instructions will also work well. It’s shameful how these vendors supply crappy plastic drywall anchors and/or crappier double-sided tape when they know full well that won’t hold. Doors these days are shockingly flimsy hollow-core doors (pic #1), so with the weight of this very nice mirror, I committed to using toggle bolts (pic #2). I also committed to using epoxy (i.e. industrial glue) on the mirror’s backside instead of whatever terrible foam tape probably came in the packaging. I don’t regret it because the result is rock solid. You can remove the mirror by simply lifting it and it doesn’t rattle on the door. But the whole thing took work. I bought these cleats, then sawed them in half to have mounts on both the mirror’s top and bottom: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000VWAYZS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 Using sand paper, I roughened the cleat hooks and mirror’s wood backing. Then I used JB Weld (left in pic #3) to glue the cleat hooks to the mirror backside (pics #3-6). I had measured their position on the mirror very carefully, marked it in ballpoint pen, and marked that in pencil on the door also. I chose to put the rails at the top and bottom, but I don’t recommend this; commentary at the end. Make sure to pick locations that don’t land in the door’s decorative recesses! After the epoxy cured, my professional assessment was that those cleats will stay adhered to the mirror through armageddon. I drilled 3/8” holes in the door and fastened the the cleat shoulder (not sure what to call it?) to the door with toggle bolts, pic #7. This was a huge pain; don’t do what I did in the picture. Rather, drop all the bolts into the cleat shoulder’s holes, then thread toggles onto all the bolts. Then patiently stuff the toggles into the door one at a time. I knew 8 bolts was overkill, but I wanted to be sure. Anyway, 5 of them failed because… I initially used 1” long bolts which were too short for my toggles, resulting in me losing several toggles inside the door and my cool—oh well. 1.25” length bolts worked great. (My door is a little less than 1.5” thick.) You may correctly note that this mounting is overconstrained—weight is only going to rest on one cleat unless they’re really well aligned. I recommend doing this: 1) shift both cleats upward as far as they can in their mounting holes, 2) loosely tighten both cleats in that position, 3) mount the mirror and let its weight shift the cleats downward, 4) carefully remove the mirror without disturbing the cleats, 5) carefully tighten the screws without shifting the cleats. And voila! Your mirror is solidly mounted to your door. I was surprised to find that I’m still able to shift the mirror around and straighten it after all the screws are tightened. I must not be understanding something here…I’m ok with that. When mounting the mirror, make sure the horns catch the shoulder! I was horrified to find I once somehow caught the mirror on the leveling bubble channel (pic #11). It’s a miracle the mirror didn’t fall and crack on my bathroom tiling. The only thing I’d do differently is NOT mount at the mirror’s top and bottom, because my mirror flaps and bows when I shut the door hard. I’d do 1/3 or 1/4 mirror’s length from the top and bottom instead. Some engineer here better than I can comment what’s stiffest for a symmetrically double-pinned beam. If you’re mounting to drywall, not a door, I’d still recommend the cleats, but toggle bolts are overkill; good metal drywall anchors will do fine. Still wouldn’t recommend plastic anchors. Best is if you’re able to screw the cleats straight into a stud. Good luck and happy homemaking! ... show more

  • Most excellent
Size: 48" x 24" Rectangular
I was stunned by the lengths this seller went to product the mirrors during shipment. I mean, they cut pieces of wood to secure the mirrors in the boxes. Who does that anymore? I'm looking around trying to find other places that I can put these high quality mirrors. I'll be buying more. and soon. If I could rate these 10 star, I would. ... show more

  • Excellent Quality Mirror. Instructions and Installation Hardware Are Mediocre.
Size: 48" x 24" Rectangular
I bought several of these mirrors for the small room I use as a home gym. The mirrors themselves are glass and are of excellent quality. The installation instructions are mediocre. They are the type without any written narrative, using pictograms instead. They do not specify any size of drill to be used to make the holes for the supplied wall anchors. Perhaps because of this several of the anchors crushed when I inserted them. When I used the next larger drill size, the holes were a bit large and the screws did not bite well in the anchors and drywall. I ended up going to the hardware stores and buying new screws and anchors, and new J-clips to make installation smoother. The final product looks great on the walls. ... show more

  • Great home gym mirrors
Size: 48" x 24" Rectangular
I was nervous that these were going to turn out to be like fun house mirrors but I was pleasantly surprised! They look awesome in my home gym and were very easy to install, even for a not so handy person like me :)

  • Home Gym to Professional Gym Feeling
There is no distortion in my mirrors. They were very easy to hang. I started by making sure all the bottom support rails were level and even. Used painters tape to hold the rails in place to make the anchor holes. Very easy to place on the wall. Word of Advice: Make sure that your TOP rails are lined up with the bottom rails. We love these mirrors because they kick our home gym up a notch and now it feels like a proper gym. ... show more

  • Glue was faulty
*Ive got to add a little more info. We tried a second time to glue (with the glue they provided) the brackets provided to the mirror. This time we left it to set overnight ~10 hours). We hung the mirror again even with the crack and it stayed up, but only for 30 minutes. the glue failed again. The mirror did sustain more damage. But surprisingly it was pretty contained to just the bottom. IF the company would have sent this with the brackets already permanently attached I would give it 5 stars*. I have to give this mirror 1 stars. The mirror itself is fine but the installation was kinda ridiculous. The post for the mirror says it is ready to be mounted. However, it came without the mounting brackets even attached. It did come with instructions and glue to mount the brackets. We followed the instructions with the glue. It said to let the glue set for 2 hours before mounting to the wall. We let it sit for 5 (we let it sit while we went to a Thanksgiving party). Once we got home my husband hung the mirror and about 3 seconds later the glue failed and the mirror fell (the brackets stayed on the wall where they were supposed to) Luckily my husband was able to catch the mirror (since he was still standing right there) and only the corner of the mirror hit the tile. The mirror did end up with a crack in the spot where it hit the tile. This mirror would have gotten 4 stars. It seems decent enough quality except for having to do your own mounting brackets. ... show more
