So far I’m incredibly impressed. I bought this to use in my grow tent for plants. Other brands like AC Infinity and VIVOSUN charge a ton for their inline fans with filters, and this works great for my 4x2 tent. I talked to a fellow grower who claims to have been using his fan for going on 8 years now! It is a bit loud but I don’t care. Haven’t reached the flowering stage so I can’t say for the smell there but it came with 2 charcoal filter sleeves and I can’t smell it when I feed my plants. It’s made out of plastic but it’s solid and looks good. Edit- i should have purchased the 6 inch inline fan for my 4x2 tent. The 4 inch struggles to keep the temps below 90 with the lights on and 2 oscillating fans running, it just doesn’t pull enough air. Will review the 6 inch when it’s installed and has been used.

This has been going non-stop on full blast in my 2x4 tent for 2 months now. Absolutely no issues whatsoever. Does a great job of preventing unwanted aromas from escaping and the air circulating. Overall a really great budget inline exhaust unit.

Everything LOOKED fine out of the box. Sleek, cool little fan setup. But once I got everything together, I knew this just wasn't going to work. On it's own, the fan was putting out a DECENT (not great) flow of air, but once the full length of tube was on, what was coming out the end was almost nothing. In NO way was it enough to work for what I needed it for. I didn't find it terribly loud, and for the money, you get a lot, but it just wasn't powerful enough, which I guess makes sense. You get what you pay for.

The media could not be loaded. Been running it for a week now and so far so good. I love how compact the fan is and it came with a good size carbon filter so it’s less air resistance on the small 6w 4” fan. Super quiet too, you can barely hear it when you’re just around the corner (see, or should I say hear video). The 130 cfm rating on the fan seems to be plenty for my little 2’x3’x5’ tent cuz it’s workin like a champ so far at half speed, and still quiet at full speed. Great value and easy functionality with the speed dial. Fan is mostly plastic but sturdy. Only complaint is the ducting is a little smaller than the end of the fan it goes onto, so I really had to twist it to open it up enough to wiggle it on there but no big deal. Would still buy again, no reason to spend more.
