I bought a ruggable first, paid over $300, ruggables are great but I didn't like the style I picked out. Looking for a shag type rug but didn't want to pay a lot of money and not like it. Saw this shag rug, thought for the price I can throw it on floor to see if I even like the shag style. For the price I wasn't expecting much. Laid the carpet down and was blown away at the beauty and softness almost silky feeling of carpet. It was all matted up, horrible looking. I let it air dry came back the next day and started fluffing it up with my hand. Like magic this rug came back to life!!! I got the teal rug and it’s so soft and fluffy, I’m not disappointed! It does slip so I would recommend getting anti slip rug stickers to put under, but I have my bed on top to keep it from slipping. After taking it out of the vacuum sealed bag it’s pretty fluffy but may take a day or two to get into proper shape. I love it, it’s a great simple rug and is affordable! ... show more

I had a chair in my office that took up too much space, so I got this rug as a soft spot for the dog to hang out with me. It came vacuum sealed but fluffed right up when I opened it, it's very soft and has a nice cushion to it that I amplified with a rug pad. No weird packaging smells, and the dog loves it. Haven't tried cleaning it yet so I didn't rate that option, but I highly recommend for the price! ... show more

This rugs comes vacuum packed and takes a while to get to its original shape once opened. You might see some creases because of where its folded but they disappear after sometime. Make sure to cut the plastic sheet it comes in very carefully otherwise you might damage the rug itself. I placed it in my bedroom and it looks really good. Only when you walk over it, you realize how soft and comfortable it is. I wish it was a little more thicker for extra weight because mine slips a lot. It seems the non-slip surface does not work wooden floors. I had to buy grippers separately for extra hold to make it stay where its placed. My wife loves it because its washable but also hates it because vacuum cleaning it is so cumbersome . Even when the vacuum cleaner is on low power, it starts pulling the soft threads out. Just to be clear it does not shed. Overall a really nice rug at an affordable price. ... show more

First thing you notice about the rug is how is comes so compacted. When I removed it from the bag it immediately expanded. Within twenty minutes it was ready to be used. Now I know they say wait for at least 24-48 hours but nah. The color of the rug is exactly as you see it in the picture. It is soooooooo soft! I was really expecting a cheap rug that I would probably use somewhere not noticeable. NOPE! This is going right in front of my bed! It has silicone or rubber grips on the bottom to help it stay put on would floors. We shall see how it does on carpet. My last one keeps moving all over the place. I got the 4x6 and wish I had gotten the bigger size. The price is definitely a good bargain. My only issue with the carpet is that is his slippery when you walk on it. Not sure how to fix that except to be careful when I'm walking on it. If yo are looking for a cheap rug that should actually be a little less cheap - but this rug. ... show more
