For the $99 price point, this was an excellent buy. This platform bed is straightforward to put together, stylish, and build quality is present. The other thing too is I thought the idea that it had pockets on the side of the headboard was weird until I realized that I can hold my glasses right there before bed and pick them up when I need them. I purchase this as my old bed of a few years was starting to give me a lot of trouble. My old bed had slats that were very thin and we’re constantly slide off making my mattress fall. I found this bed on Amazon. And what made me want to buy it was the look of the sturdy slats after assembling the bed I can tell you that this is a very sturdy piece of furniture. The slats, and the Velcro are amazing. The headboard itself is made out of some type of a corduroy material, but it’s very cute. If you’re looking for a very sturdy inexpensive bed frame, this is definitely the one to go for assembly was pretty simple. Took a little risk with buying this because it didn't have many reviews. But overall very happy with the purchase. Pretty easy to install. Would definitely got faster with 2 sets of hands. One of the metal parts was bent but that could 100% be shipping. It was easy to bend back into place and assemble without issue. I would definitely put some kind of loctite on the bolts. After 2 days the bed was starting to creak so I put loctite on the threads and tighted the bolts. Hasn't creaked since. ... show more
