This review is for the Homhedy 5-Tier Bookshelf Arched Display Racks, Wood and Metal Bookcase. The overall look is attractive with solid wood shelves and interesting wood grain. This item arrives fully disassembled and assembly takes about 30 minutes using a drill with an H3 Allen wrench driver bit. The item comes with the usual Allen wrench but it would take much longer to assemble doing it manually. The assembly instructions are generally clear; just make sure you use the shorter slotted fasteners on the back X-shaped stabilizer. Once assembled, it’s sturdy enough for lightweight use but the shelves do not have under-mount brackets so I wouldn’t use this for heavy items. Priced at $60, it’s a fair value. ... show more

Only took 20 minutes to put together. Everything lined up. I didn’t use the crossbars on the back and it’s still solid. Great value. Perfect size for this small space.

Really nice looking bookshelf. Love the arched details, makes a simple design just look a bit different and fancier. Black and brown combo is attractive. The shelves are very spacious, depth and also height between the shelves, that’s either a pro or a con depending on what you’re putting in the shelves. It was super easy to assemble, and at a really great price. It does feel a little “fragile”, I’d definitely load the bottom shelves before the top to avoid tipping. ... show more

I really like this arched 5-tier shelf unit. It has a black metal frame with an arched accent at the top, and cross bracing at the back to keep it sturdy and straight. The shelves are rustic brown finish waterproof engineered wood so they not only look good, they are very easy to keep clean. The whole shelf unit is 11.8"D x 23.6"W x 62.2"H so it will hold lots of things from books to decorative items. You can even fit taller things on the shelves because there is 10’6” of space between the shelves. I am thinking of ordering another of these shelf units so I can put 2 of them next to each other. I think that will look great. The design is so simple and unfussy that it won’t look cluttered, even with photos of all the photos of the grandkids lol. ... show more

This was pretty straightforward to build with simple instructions and well labeled parts. It's adequate, for display, but not great for heavy things, especially a lot of books. The boards have no support except four screws in each end, and the poles and boards are pretty lightweight. You have to secure this to the wall or it will topple over. The specs do state that each shelf can hold 22 lbs, but I would not test that. ... show more

This would make a nice shelving unit for displaying figurines or add some decor to your space. Very easy to build and quite sturdy once assembled. There is only one thing that worries me...The shelves do not rest over any kind of support, it's just the screws in the 4 corners that hold then.
