Beautiful. Easy to assemble, the only thing I will say is that it looks a bit like plastic. Not as shiny and smooth as it appears in the picture. A glittery kind of texture. Other than that, I love!

I love this so much. I think it’s beautiful, seriously. The instructions are pretty straightforward, but it gets a little tricky when it comes to the direction in which each hole needs to point. Basically, you need to double-check that each glass shelf fits into the metal frame before you tighten the screws. It’s not super clear on the directions which way the holes need to face – but they do need to be facing IN, if that makes sense, so just something to keep in mind. Visually, this bookcase is stunning. The gold has little specks of sparkle in it, which really elevates the look, in my opinion. Overall, once you get it set up, this shelving unit is incredibly sturdy and well-made. The glass shelves fit nicely into each shelf, and they lie flat, supporting quite a bit of weight. This is by far my favorite new piece in my house. It does come with accessories to mount it to the wall, but for my house, I didn't have a need for that. It's very stable, so I have absolutely no qualms about it falling, and it's not something any small pets would be able to knock over. Highly recommend! ... show more

My mother used this glass shelving unit as a display for her glass ornaments, glass figurines and glass dolls. It looks like a little store display, it looks beautiful with glass items on it, you can use it as a bookshelf but I like the glass items better it looks more expensive and impressive!

Metal and glass construction. This five shelf display unit has easy to follow directions for assembly. All the tools and hardware are included with the unit. It took about 30 minutes to fully assemble the shelf unit. It comes with four adjustable screw in legs to be able to level the unit. The glass shelves inset into the metal frame and comes with rubber pads to protect the glass from the metal frame.
