This is a set of 12 basic white, microfiber cloths. They appear to be made well and are very soft, even after washing. The directions say not to use bleach, so I decided to test one to see how clean they would get with just detergent alone. The test involved ordinary household dirt and dust, plus some ketchup and mustard just to see if it would stain. Only faint mustard stains remained, which I guess is not too surprising. But the reason I took off one star is these were described as 12” x 12” and they are a bit smaller than that. About 11 1/2” per side at best. And maybe a bit thinner than other microfiber cloths I have had. But really, depending on what you are using them for (and the uses are endless), it probably won’t make any difference. ... show more

These washcloths have two distinctive sides to the fabric: one side is a traditional, short-pile woven microfiber and the other has a little bit longer, fluffier feel. The cloths are soft but thin, so they are less bulky than most washclothes but they will dry fast. These do a good job with face washing but are also good for things like lining pots/pans, washing dishes, washing cars, dusting, etc. I would classify these as an all-purpose cloth and with a pack of 24, it’ll take awhile to run through them. ... show more

This set of microfiber cloths are just shy of 12" square. They are thin to medium weight and soft and absorbent. They arrived vacuum sealed and quite thin, but the fluff with washing. A nice bargain set.

When these arrived, they were vacuum packed into a near-solid slab in a tight-fitting sealed plastic bag. But within seconds of opening them, they puffed up into beautifully fluffy and soft washcloths. As with all personal products, we washed and dried them before use and that made them even more bouncy and soft. Having done this with other microfiber cloths, we found many of them generate a huge amount of lint that catches in the dryer lint-screen, but these washcloths were pleasantly different, being virtually lint free. These have two different textures on either side, one deeper nap fluffy side and a closer-knit smoother side. The shorter nap side is great for gentle scrubbing, whereas the fluffy side is gently soft and very absorbent. They are not “deep-pile fluffy thick” like a fluffy bath towel would be, but as washcloths, they are very soft and pliant on the skin and feel great. I tried them as a sweat wiping cloth while working outside, and they are excellent for that purpose. Unlike the 100% cotton washcloths I have been using, these are so much less abrasive on the skin, and absorb faster and better. As with all microfiber products though, you should not use bleach when washing them as it will erode the fibers, and some might feel that using them as a sweat band or wipe would require bleaching. But, I have found that they launder beautifully clean with just a minimum of regular laundry detergent as microfiber tends not to retain contaminants. As for their approximate 12” X 12” size, for me they are just right for a quick single-use before going into the laundry. A dozen of them is a tiny wash load, again, unlike the larger cotton ones I have been using. These are a great 12" x 12" size for micro-fiber cloths; not too big, or too small. Too SMALL, and you have to use more of them to do the same cleaning job; too BIG, and you'd feel bad about just throwing one away after a particularly dirty clean-up. I intend to keep some in my car for cleaning windows and wipers, and occasional dusting. I'll also set aside a few for damp-cleaning my LP albums, using specialized record cleaning solution.The rest will be for other general cleaning around the house. And, as long as they don't get too grimy, I can always machine wash & dry them (without using fabric-softeners) for extended use. With a 50-pack of towels, that should enable them to last for quite a long time. ... show more

These washcloths are microfiber, not terrycloth, so they are a little thinner, but not too bad. One side has terrycloth texture, and the other side is more of a microfiber texture, so they are not as absorbent as a terrycloth washcloth, but they are soft. And for the price and the number of washcloths you get, it's still a bargain. I have 2 grandkids living with me, and they go through some washcloths. They use them for everything, to wash their faces and hands and of course in the bath, and the use a new one every time almost. So having 24 of these cloths is great. ... show more
