We love the softness of the material. As other reviewers have said, it’s not too hot for summer. We leave a comforter on the bed year round. I’m sure it will be great for winter too. Another reason I decided to try it, the reviews that said how well it washes and dries. The material on the inside doesn’t bunch up after washing and drying. I love that! I purchased the purple/lavender. The lavender is actually more of a pink color, but that’s not an issue for me because I wasn’t planning on using the reversible lighter colored side anyway. I absolutely love this comforter. It can get warm if it’s warm in your house but I tend to keep a throw blanket on top of it for warmth if it’s cool in here with a fan going.
