This product makes great nugget ice cubes. They are soft and the machine does produce a nice amount of ice. The downfall is it’s noisy, really noisy. It is closer to a squeal sound. I located the squeal and it comes from the cylinder that makes the ice. As it spins the mechanism makes the noise. Unfortunately this is a sealed unit and no way to add a lubricant. The media could not be loaded. The ice machine makes ice and functions properly. The big issue is that it makes Very loud noise that I can hear in the back of the house. EDIT: I've owned this for 7 months and is now leaking in 2 celebrate spots INSIDE the back of the machine. It leaks and the water ruined my counter. I contacted customer service and they replied back ti me 1x to ask for video or photos of the item. I provided those and now they've completely ignored me. This ice maker is NOT worth the money for how loud it is and the short lifespan ... show more

Our family LOVES ice! When I saw the flash sale for this machine I jumped on it. It makes a perfect amount of ice although you have to make sure to keep refilling the container-I use filtered water. My only complaint is the loud knocking sounds and overall sound level. I placed my machine in our mudroom which is close to the kitchen so for us it works. However, if I lived in an apartment or small home this machine would annoy me and I would return. Again, ice is great, soft, chewable, produces a lot, replenishes quickly, taste great. Just has some noise:-) ... show more

    • Exactly what I wanted but….
We have been using it for about a week now. It started off really quiet, but has become more noisy in a week span. Is it not meant to be used constantly? It’s located on our kitchen counter with plenty of ventilation on both sides. We love the ice and efficiency of the machine. After one week, noise is my only complaint! ... show more

The machine can be heard throughout the entire house. I contacted customer support and they sent me a new one. The second one is even louder than the first one!

Every time you remove the ice bucket It drips water all over. You have to remove the ice bucket to put more water in it, drips water from the bucket all over the place. It is ridiculous. It stopped producing ice twice, and I turned it off unplugged it left it unplugged for about 20 minutes and plugged it back in. It did not work did it again and left it off for a day plugged it back in and it started making ice again. This happened twice and I am 33 days purchase and you cannot return the product after 30 days. Beware do not purchase icemakers for a lot less money. Unfortunately, this was a gift :-( ... show more
