They don't last forever so they do have to be replaced occasionally. These things are THE BEST! I have a very low profile rug in my entry way so my front door can clear it, but my cats get the zoomies while I'm out and I can barely get the front door open when it's bunched up against the base. These grippers are unbelievably thin and solid. I took the advice of a previous reviewer and used duct tape to pull off any dirt and fuzzies from the corners of my rug before sticking the grippers on and haven't had a single issue since. Truly does what it says it will! Almost busted my butt several times after buying a new runner for my kitchen. I put one in each corner and an extra in the center of the rug. Works like a charm, does NOT move unless you pry it off of the floor. I love that it sticks to the floor without permanently sticking and leaving residue on my floors. I just bought a new bathroom rug with a jute-type backing...even though it is quite long it tends to slide a bit on our tile floors. I don't much care for the large under rug pads, so I gave these little corner pads a try. THEY ARE PERFECT...completely unobtrusive and the rug doesn't move an inch even when vacuuming. I don't think the anti-slip pads would be easily removed once adhered; but since my rug is not laundry washable there is no issue. I am very happy. ... show more

We’ve been using these for about 2 months now and overall they’re holding up fairly well. We bought an 8-pack. Put 4 on our entryway runner, and it hasn’t moved at all. We put the other 4 on our garage door rug, and that’s not sticking as well because the dogs like to run over it and use it as a bed. Just cleaned the pads with a Mr Clean Magic Eraser the other day, though, and now they’re sticking great again! I haven’t tried washing the rugs with the pads on yet. I’m a little nervous about that, but would definitely put the rug in a linen bag if I did. I really wanted something that wouldn’t damage my hardwood floors or leave residue, and they definitely have kept my floors in great shape! ... show more

I have purchased many non slip rug pads before and non worked They always seemed to bunch up and rug would still move. These grippers work AWESOME. I ordered a new carpet rolled it out and as always the corners were sticking up I put these grippers on each corner and couldn’t believe the results. Within seconds the rug was flat. I felt that would not last but to my surprise this morning they are still stuck and carpet is flat and I can’t believe it it does not slip. I love these because my rug literally wont move unless I peel up the pads, yet they do not stick to the floor. AMAZING. Only negative is that they came off in the wash so I will have to continue to buy new ones or not wash my rugs lmao
